Bootmod3 Stage 2+ E30 octane maps for N55-M2 are now available!

Stage 2+ E30 octane OTS maps for N55 EWG and M2, upgraded HPFP required. PWG172X map updates will follow.

We decided to make a new OTS map for the N55 equipped cars with an upgraded high pressure fuel pump.

The limiting point on cars with the N55-EWG and N55-M2 engine is that they run out of fuel pressure before the turbo runs out of steam.

These maps can be used with upgraded turbo as well, an example is the car we had on dyno.

The dynograph shows the Stage 2H E30 octane OTS map compared to the new Stage 2+ E30 octane OTS map on a car with a Pure Stage 2 turbo.

Stage 2H E30 octane: 447WHP/452WTQ
Stage 2+ E30 octane: 501WHP/512WTQ

Stage 2H is our previous OTS map that maxes the stock HPFP. Stage 2+ is the new OTS map that takes advantage of an upgraded HPFP, in this case from Dorch Engineering.
These cars produce around 290-305WHP stock, with this map and the same upgrades like the testcar, a 200WHP gain is possible - at 20 PSI!

Required hardware:
- Aftermarket chargepipe
- Aftermarket intercooler
- High flow downpipe
- Upgraded high pressure fuel pump
- Pure Stage 2 (numbers in pics posted) or equivalent turbo upgrade
* AFTERMARKET HPFP MUST BE SET IN THE CONFIG *
- Upgraded high pressure fuel pump Map Configuration for the HPFP should be set before flashing

We recommend XHP transmission flash to take advantage of the high torque #bootmod3 #bm3 #bmw #bmw235i #135i #235i #335i #435i #535i

Are you planning a stage 2+ for 93 octane (98 Ron)?

Thanks Halim@HCP for continuing to find power for our N55’s!

Everyone, this is such a great map you don’t have to spend money on custom tuning.

proTUNING Freaks and Halim@HCP have done incredible work on this one!

Agreed. Would be great when BM3 releasing their map switching feature, for those who don't have constant access to e85.

In the description here you stated in the 'Required Hardware' section that a Pure Stg2 or equivalent turbo is required but it does not say this in the BM3 app. So my question is do we need an aftermarket turbo to run this map or will a stock turbo + upgraded hpfp work?

I also find it interesting that they say the map can be used for stock turbos and upgraded ones.

Wouldn't boost targets be different when using different turbos? Unless the tune is optimized for the oem turbo, but an also be used with upgraded turbos (though it wouldn't be optimized for upgraded ones)

The tune targets 20 psi to redline, the stock turbo manages to hit these boost targets. Optimised for both stock m2 and upgraded turbos.

It’s definitely hard to beat this amount of power that is both safer & more flexible than a custom tune simply by flashing a new OTS map!

BM3 and Halim are providing huge bang for the buck value for anyone that is FBO and simply adds one of the new cost effective HPFP options, even if they’re on the stock turbo!

Then, simply install a larger turbo later, run the same map, and you get another huge boost in power!

Would definitely be fine with the stock turbo. If you're upgrading the turbo then it would likely depend on what you're upgrading to.

Upgraded fuel pump is required together with an upgraded intercooler, high flow downpipe and upgraded chargepipe.

To get the power like the testcar on dyno an upgraded turbo is needed, in this case it was from PureTurbos

You値l believe it when you try it and dyno it next to your custom tune.

That's not happening for a while. I need a HPFP (that or my LPFP is bad) it just keeps crashing. I've posted a few of the logs and the pressue just crators.
I'm not doing any major car mods until after closing, so it will be a few months...

To think such magic and sorcery is possible.
