Dual climate control

So I read through the owner's manual and did several variations of search terms here in the forums, but have yet to find an answer to this, which leaves me thinking that - it's not possible to turn off dual climate control, such that the driver's side controls both temp settings? That would be disappointing. I have a '15 Lexus RC F and on that car there is a button labeled "Dual" that switches back and forth to driver side control and dual control. Please tell me there is a way to do this on the M2? Mine is 2017, just bought it and the only other Bimmer I've ever owned was a 1978 2002, which I drove while in the military in West Germany around the mid 1980s. Any help?

Correct. Short of spanning a rubberband across both dials, there is no way to sync both climate zones.

Correct me if wrong, but doesn't the 2017 PE come with single zone climate? Could maybe swap units from there.
