Anyone else doing PCD on the 30th?

Only a few days left. Can't wait to see my car. I've reached the end of the Hockenheim Silver internet! I've looked at every picture of 763M wheels. I am out of reviews to read.

It's time for the car!

Update us on how it goes! I finally got an allocation yesterday, and will do PCD in June/July when it gets here. I also signed up for the m driver school on 4/23 to tie me over until then!

In that case, you’ll have a blast at PCD. I went there for the new drivers day and it was the highlight of my 2020 (I also got married and spent two weeks in a tourist-free Maui... do that should tell you something). I seriously regret not doing PCD. There’s nothing like beating on $100k+ cars while an instructor tells you to go WOT then “stand on the brakes!”

Thanks - and congrats by the way! Staying at the Ritz in Kapalua years ago is still to this day the only place I've ever been in my life where I literally could not think of a single thing I wanted to change. Absolutely perfect.

As for PCD, I did a PCD delivery for my 340i back in 2016 and it was a blast. Hoping the second time is just as much fun. This will be my first Mcar delivery at PCD; since I bought my F80 off a lot in 2017, PCD wasn't possible.

Bummed my wife won't be able to go, but I guess that's more driving time for me!

The only reason I'm not doing PCD delivery is that the 12 hour drive back on the highway is terrible for break in. Supposedly you are suppose to vary your RPM during the break in period.

Yeah my drive was only 5 hrs but it was a pain. Every 10 mins I would downshift to 5th to change engine speeds or speed up to 80 etc.

At first it was fun but after a few hours it got old. Also - as much as I'm happy with my M2C, it is not a car meant for long stretches of crappy broken pavement highway like I85 in SC and NC
