I’m running 265/30 and 295/30 Michelin PS4S on 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 Apex EC-7s. Ride comfort is not appreciably different vs. stock, but the fronts do tramline and follow road imperfections more than the stock 245s. Still happy with the setup, though.

I'm running these tires and sizes on my OEM rims. Love the setup for the street, but have another set of rims for track duty

Just a word of advice. Get 18s over 19s. I have had Titan7 in 19x9.5 et23 and 19x10.5 et 34 wrapped in PS4S 265/35 and 295/30 tires on the car. It sure feels a lot stable in corner and there is a lot of grip from the wider track. However they just felt heavy and the weight transfer in corners are hard to materialize. (Front: 20.6lbs, Rear: 21.1lbs)
I recently switched to BBS RI-A in 18x9.5 et23 and 18x10.5 et37 with also PS4S but in 265/35 and 285/35 tires. Honestly, the car actually feels faster from standing and the entire car felt it got smaller due to decreased unsprung weight. (Front: 18.6lbs, Rear:19.4lbs). I got a 6 lbs total saving over 19s and 15lbs saving over stock, 20lbs if i run R Compound or 200TW tires. The difference is night and day. . I know that for M2c will require AP racing or StopTech BBK to be able to fit 18s. If u have the money do it, u'll not regret it and running forged 18s are worth every penny. |

It's been hard driven 5000 street miles and 2 track days, these brakes are worth every buck Also they are about $3k cheaper front and back total compared to the AP racing brakes. Literally minimum to no squealing from these brakes. Even with my PFC 08 race pads mounted, everything works like OEM |

Any rubbing issues. Dropped suspension? Camber specs? Any spacers?

An update, AnthraciteOG convinced me with his nice pics and I got a full AP Racing kit. Stoptech wasn't easily available or cheaper where I live.
18" coming soon. |

U r gonna love it! Btw don't lower too much on the front if u have a front lip since 18" tires typically are shorter than 19" so the car automatically sits a bit lower. |

Well, I finally was able to confirm my suspicions!
Due to some noise and grinding issues, which ended up being the tires, I got new tires this week, and went with 265/30f and 295/30r, stock everything. Cannot be happier!!! This is truly how the car shouldve come from factory (with some wider rims to make the side wall adjustments), but it is perfect now.

i run 265/285 for street and track. I run Bridgestones RE71RS I know in the US you cant get them ... but in australia we can. ride and compliance is fine. and we have crappy roads in australia. the balance and everything is perfect.
as mentioned before depends on your purpose.. my car is 50/50 road and track other things you need to consider you will need spacers depending on your wheels it may not clear your suspentions and you may get inner guard rub.. which means you will need camber plates to adjust camber |

Great thread...I'm about to buy a new set of tires, and am happy my stock MPSS made it 18k miles.
I want to buy 19 x 9.5/10.5 wheels soon, but may just buy tires first and mount them on the stock wheels till next year. I'm in California, don't really drive it in the rain, and will autocross 5-6x a year as well as do maybe 1 track day. Tires I'm considering: MP4S (255/275/35 or 265/285/30) AD09 * new option! (255/275/35 or 265/285/30) RE71RS (255/275/35 or 265/285/30) Thoughts on what I should go with? This is a semi daily driver..I don't commute and split mileage between the car and a Honda VFR. I'm leaning MP4S 255/275 but the AD09 looks amazing and would give me more lateral grip with the same size. Not super concerned about treadwear as long as I get 18 months/6-8k miles out of the tires. |
