OZ Hyper Wheels - Anyone have experience with them?

I'm doing my research on a second set of wheels for my M2C when it arrives in June. I intend to continue auto crossing in AS (stock class), so I'm limited on sizing. The BMW 763M's look to be the ticket with the weight savings over the 788's, and look a ton better IMHO.

Currently APEX does not offer what I need to keep the ET within the 7MM required for stock class.

Has anyone here had experience with these OZ wheels? They are a direct match, 19X9 - ET29 & 19X10 - ET40, but do require a center ring.

Thank you for your input in advance!

Getting them in 5 days. Reputable performance shop the car is at (full Dinan suspension and intake) says they re good quality. To me it was simple- like the look much better than BMW lighter weight choice and anything lighter was 3 times the cost. But I do not track car.

There are dealers selling the 763M for $3,000 shipped, and that's a forged wheel.

Edit: tires not included

I think the 763Ms at $3,000. is still one of the better quailty/price buys out there for BMWs. They are forged!

The 437M that come stock are forged as well and I still see people replacing them with wheels such as the HRE flowform wheels. Some people just want to change the appearance.

Hi BigBear, I am on the fence regarding acquiring a set of OZ Hyper GTs from TireRack, but I have trouble finding any pics of the wheel on M2C, yours is the only one. Wondering if you can supply a few more, especially focusing on the concavity at rear and the tire stretch both front and rear (assuming you are running 19x9 + 245/35/19 F and 19x10 + 265/35/19 R). Would appreciate your help very much.

They are the identical width and offset of the stock M2C wheels, so stretch, etc, will be identical.

These are excellent wheels for an autocross set since they will meet SCCA street class rules, are light and strong. I've had a set for autox/track use for a year now, and they've worked out great. I have 255/35-19 and 275/35-19 RE-71Rs mounted on them.

Here they are in action:
