Does 18x10 275/35 square fit the M2?

Tried to search for this but cannot seem to find this exact combo.

I would love to run this:

18"x10" rims with Nankang AR-1 275/35 rubber in a square setup.

Will I make it in the front?
How much camber do I need?
Anyone running this?

While my setup is not exactly 18x10 I'm running the following setup which I have absolutely zero rubbing. I'm running -2.5 camber F/R and am at about 25" F to G.

18x10 +20
18x10.5 +33

265/35-18 and 275/35-18 Michelin P4S

My rear is about 2mm less aggressive from the fender from running a 18x10 +25 wheel. I actually have a bit of room to go. My fronts have room, it may touch front or rear splash guard at full lock but it doesn't seem like it would be a problem.

You didn't state offset but I assume it would be 18x10 +25 as i referenced above. Have you identified your specific wheel yet?

Ahh thank you for your reply. I'm thinking of two wheel options.

Option 1.
Protrack ONE 18x10. They are available in ET20, ET25 and ET40.

Option 2.
TItan T-S5 18x10. They are only available in ET25.

But you're saying that for a square setup 18x10 ET25 should be the best option? I'll most likely run -3 camber to start with.

Perhaps check-in with Sam-R on here - he's using Protrack one wheels on his M2

https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...6&postcount=15

Also some folks have mounted oem wheels upfront using 15-18-20mm spacers IIRC - maybe worth searching the forum for their cars..??

What coilovers are you running? Your front setup could cause some trouble with clearance based off wheel/tire combo of your choosing. If you were looking to run square setup, 18x10 et25 would be a good balance. Clearances will be close but you should have enough in the front (think strut/spring) and the rear (Think tire to fender).

As Bee Pee mentioned there is another member here that has pretty much your exact option 1.

Another thing to keep in mind are the front fender liners on the M2C

They supposedly offer a little less clearance than the ones on the OG M2

I'm in the same situation as you. Do you have the stock Ohlins springs in the front? If so with those tires you might need a spacer even with ET25, but really the issue is the rear. I was actually able to fit the 18x10 ET25 with 265/35 RS4s (super wide shoulders) in the back, but camber was extreme and there is definitely no room for more tires. With a higher ride height, it will show some poke. I believe the 275/35/18 AR1s have the same section width as 265/35/18 RS4s (I could be wrong), so maybe it can work. Here's a reference.

I believe the perfect ET for a square 18x10 setup would be 28-30.

Ok thanks for the input. That is a tight fit.

I run 18x10 et25 square with 275/35 federals RS-rr. Rear fits fine with -2 camber, -2.7 camber front with 5mm spacer in front. My status Gruppe coilovers have a very narrow springs though. I do think I could go 285 all 4

-correction et33!! I was thinking of my old f80 haha

Guys, I settled on the ET25. Will report back, hoping it won't rub on the track.

Great. But at least 18x10 with 275 square should fit if you get the camber and ET right. No other mods

One more thing. Heard from a local guy that runs an M2 (not a comp) with 19x10 ET40 all around. That is, he has the rear oem wheels is the front as well as the back. He told me he ran:

front: 19x10 ET40 + 20mm spacers 265/35 -2.8 Camber
rear: 19x10 ET40 295/30 -2.0 Camber
öhlins road & track

So all the information I can gather tells me that that 18x10 with 275/35 should fit just fine, with extra camber. ET40 in the back and ET20 in the front.

Yes, the ET40 is an easy fit for the rear, the 20mm spacer in front is for strut clearance.

Yep!! So I am running the 18x10 ET25 setup with 265 square. I do not have any rubbing on track but I left some room for the ride height & also have stiff rear springs. Either way, it looks like it will clear the rear fender following the camber curve. My rear camber isn't maxed out though because of the stock toe arm. I believe this setup right now will depend on the tire, but with a toe arm in the rear it will be much easier.

Front: -3.5 Camber and 0 toe, 10mm spacer
Rear: -2.2 Camber and 0.14 total toe in

Some photos for reference:

FWIW, I know TC Kline has a 275 square setup on his M2C using four rear 763M 19x10. Not sure about tire profile or spacers but he does track that setup.

I like the Titan but 10.5 rears might be a bit more problematic? Also need to find our price per wheel vs package price.

10.5 can work, I have access to some BBS RIAs and I'm thinking about doing 10.5 et 37 square with 265/35 Yokohama A052. Unfortunately there will be a bit of a spacer up front and a smaller one in the rear but it should work just fine.

There's so many ways to make it work. What offset are the Titan 10.5?

Looks like Titan offers the TS-5 in a 10.5 ET 44 (M2 recommended rear fitment) and a 10.5 ET 34 (M3/4 recommended rear fitment)
