I asked them to take a video with new equal length midpipe and stock muffler. Will see if they get around to it so we can see what that sounds like.

Are you still happy with your AA single midpipe + Remus Sport?

That might be a good option. I feel like their prototype axleback is a little too free-flowing/unrestricted. Not sure if their equal length midpipe already has resonators in those videos but if not, a pair of resonators would help too. Honestly, based on the tame nature of the Remus Sport axleback with built-in resonators, it might sound great with this EL midpipe.

To answer your question, I sold my AA mid + Remus Sport to a local forum member. I was super happy with it and the only reason was that I also sold the car back in February. If I still had it, I would have for sure bought the EL midpipe from AA and paired it with my Remus Sport (assuming it's still direct bolt on).

I wonder if they're going to do separate midpipes like they did for the M3/4 for those with resonated/un resonated downpipes. Kind of a lot of variants for a relatively low production item, wonder if it's worth it for them.

They are making both midpipes like M3/M4. Confirmed by AA.

Yes, I believe the new midpipe will be a direct bolt on and can pair with both the stock muffler and aftermarket options. Still very excited to hear it in person. Unfortunately videos rarely do justice when it comes to exhausts...especially when the video is taken on a cellphone.

Yes, they said should be the next 30-60 days. Production has started for their m3/m4 midpipes.

Squiggly squiggly. Looks hilarious, but it should be able to be attached to any axle-back. Still unsure how I feel about the sound, it's so hard to gauge through a video.

Those midpipes look bazar! I guess if they perform well and sound good then that's the main thing.

Wow that sound when its revved higher, sounds so nice! A little rasp when the valves are opened down low, but it could be the exhaust packing not warmed up.

That's going to raise some eyebrows at the muffler shop, but if it works, it works!

So, this is a group where we had the advantage of both an N55 and S55 power plant.
I have a spare N55 Muffler I plan to use along with either a Y pipe or an equal length into a Y pipe, most likely the prior for weight savings.
I'm surprised nobody has done this.
I remember one guy doing it with the stock N55 M2 exhaust.

Are you insinuating that an N55 muffler on an S55 will make the S55 sound like an N55?

It was a story. They get deleted after 24 hours so it's no longer there.
