This is great! Thank you. Now I just need to figure out labor costs. I'm actually trying to add the accessories into my purchase deal with the dealer.

You can do it yourself. Very easy. If not I’m sure it won’t cost you a lot to install. My advice... don’t use betalink adhesive. Only use the hardware required by the instructions and a lot of 3M double sided tape. I had my splitter on the car for a year and a half and it still holding on strong. If you use betalink you will not be able to remove that splitter once you attached to the bumper.

Here are the instructions to install it. That PDF shows how to install other parts as well. Just read pages 2,6,7. Those are the ones for the splitter.

If you get it make sure you protect it with this.

I live and NYC and the streets are bad. I installed the MPerformance splitter on my car over a year ago and it still in perfect condition.

These may be silly questions but

1. Do you HAVE to drill into the bumper where it says?

2. Also kind of confusing, it only shows one side when it talks about the pre-existing screws vs drilling holes for the other side, are both sides different as far as how it attaches to the car?

3. Did you simply apply regular 3m double sided tape to the areas that called for beta link, or did you place them in a different manner?

Thanks ahead of time!

Hey Man!

1. Yes. You will drill exactly where it says. 4 holes. Two at the ends of the splitter and two in the middle of the splitter. Instructions are pretty straight forward.

2. Yes. You will reuse screws. Once you have the splitter and you place it on the bumper, you will know exactly where you need to drill and which screws you will have to reuse.

3. Yes. I used the 3M double sided tape where they say to apply the betalink adhesive and other places where I thought it might help. Make sure you clean the bumper and the splitter good before mounting it. Also, as soon as you finish, use strong rape to hold the splitter in place for at least a day. I will recommend you doing it during a hot day.

This is the tape I used. They sell it in different sizes. I used both. 1/2 inch and 7/8’s.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Just out of curiosity, if the splitter is mounted by bolts, why is it necessary to even use tape?

The tape is used instead of betalink adhesive. If you don’t use either one of them, the splitter will fall off during high speeds. If you use betalink, it will be almost impossible to remove the splitter without breaking it or damaging the bumper. I mounted my splitter with 3M double sided tape, because it was the safest way to do it and it gives me the opportunity to remove it safely in case I want to replace it or if it gets damaged.

This is what happens when you only use screws.

@BigKutta every time you post these natural pictures of your ride, it gets me every time! Love seeing it without any filters or in a specific setting pose.

Also, these shoots sway me somewhat opt for non moonroof from a pure aesthetic POV.

I really need to stop coming into this thread *sigh
