Clutch question (6mt)

Hey guys!

Currently have just over 20k miles on my m2 comp, how long do the stock clutches last typically? No slipping but the pedal does feel pretty soft. What are the signs to look out for?

I don't think I've seen anyone have to replace a clutch due to wear in all the years on this forum. Other than slipping I'm not sure there's any other signs since it's self-adjusting.
