If you probably didn't notice, here are two new spyshots from the M2 Erlkönig.
Scene: Switzerland, Graubünden Autobahn - near to the alps

Enjoy.

There appears to be an M "power dome" on the hood of this car. First time I've seen that.

I think that's just the way the light is reflecting off of the hood from this angle, and given the fact that the M235i hood is already fairly sculpted.

Those quarters are looking amazing. Can't wait for more uncammoed pics. And I think that is a just a reflection in the hood not a power dome.

Exactly what I was thinking. Can anyone confirm this is what the regular 2 hood looks like at that angle.

That's just the M235's hood. The angle is deceiving, it's just catching the edge of the hood crease.

The rear windows of the car presented by the OP are heavily tinted. My guess is there is an interior feature (maybe the seats) they want hidden from view.
With these mules, they had no such concerns: http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1107012

I like the look of the power dome, however, would you guys really want it on there if it served no purpose?

Garage List
Is this the first pic of the quad exhaust? Or just the first time I've noticed it? The hood does appear to have a little more to it than the stock M235, maybe it is the angle.

Quite plain to be honest.

I believe it needs more "aero drama" to be differentiated from the M235i. I certainly hope the fenders would be a lot more striking than those in the photo.

Look at how slab sided the 2-series in Denk's post above looks. I know what you are saying though. It will be the same thing as the 435i vs. M4.

It looks a bit like a shoe in the first photo. I like it!

Good find!
