Robin, about the car, does it feel considerable faster to them? Anything worth noting?

Yeah, they already really liked the M2, and loved the M2C in terms of power, but the presenter's slogan always is: Any car below 500HP becomes a nicer car when you add 100HP.

And in this case AC Schnitzer did well. He states the normal M2C is a more than great and plenty powerful car but this one is the real deal, and really fast for such a small-ish car. He also states he 's a tad scared on dry tarmac pusthing the throttle at only 75% and thinking in a nanosecond: What if I'm going to floor it now the full WOT 100% , will I still be alive?

The power scares him a bit, M2C stock not so much, but that's the way he likes it.

In short: He wants one. Period.

Cheers
Robin

Can't post prices in this section, just for information only. Feel free to PM if interested.

Wow, surprisingly reasonable. Interestingly, there are several $2500 options. I'll have to check what these sound like, I don't recall hearing any that don't sound really raspy. Not sure how the BMW m exhaust will cost $5000, that would be ridiculous.

I'm surprised the front splitter hasn't shown more interest...

It looks really good, especially compared to the M-Performance "wings". I've destroyed way too many front splitters due to the driveways and dips therefore I think I'm over having them installed.

But... this one makes me think again.

Thanks. You didn't sound impressed. Looks nice, rides rough without much benefit. The exhaust is cheap, but doesn't sound that great.

In comparison to an Akrapovic and the MPE (Either homologated or with warranty) is it better value for money, but yeah there are cheaper options in the market, which sound a lot better.

Not impressed is a big word, but I wasn't amazed. I knew what to expect and that is what it offered. It did not surprise me anywhere. Let's put it that way.

Right now, I'm debating between this exhaust, or wait and save $$ and get the Akra eventually.

Just from sound clips, this one sounded deeper but not "as loud" or has the full range of frequency tunes that that Akra has, but in terms of sound, it sounded very close to what the Akra sounded on the e90 M3, which is what I am looking for.

Is it possible to just expand on your commentary on the exhaust a bit more, ?and perhaps add some personal opinions on differences (pros/cons) vs the Akra?

You are located in the U.S.? The question in connection to the exhaust is budget. What are you willing to spend? Sound track is rather hard, because it is so personal and not one exhaust sounds in real life like what you hear on video, like none...

Therefore making a comparison is an interesting one. For me the Akrapovic is a combination of passion for the brand and simply wanting the best exhaust out there (IMO). That is not because of sound, just simply because it is the best made and engineered system out there. Nobody will say otherwise, but that comes at a price.

The AC Schnitzer system is nice, but sssst it is based on a Remus homologated system. You can opt for a Remus Race system and you have a much better sound track. If there wasn't an Akrapovic, I would have opted for Remus instead. I love the sounds it makes and the high pitch snap it has on the overrun. Nice system!
