Negative Camber
Does anyone know if the M2 stock suspension is able to be adjusted for nagative camber? I took my car to a respected BMW, Porsche, Audi, track specialist inquiring about camber plates. He told me he could dial in negative camber by taking out the strut pins, although it would not be a lot of negative camber. I originally wanted camber plates, but he insists he can align my car to be more track oriented with out going to camber plates. I only track 6-8 days a year and want to keep stock suspension.

If you look on RealOEM, you'll find pivot and swivel bearings that will allow you to add 0.5 degrees while using genuine bits. Cheaper alternatives may be available, but these will both maintain the warrantee as well as the stock ride quality.

So, having fitted MPS, I would note that the tops of the wheels are not merely tucked up in the arches compared to standard, but the additional camber means they don't fill the arches quite as well when viewed from head (or tail) on.
Having gone for the extra 0.5 degrees, did you also go for spacers? |
