That said, what I do think people notice is the LBB color. Even though there are a lot of blue cars out there, LBB stands out as unique. I've gotten more comments on the color vs. being an M2.

You described Toronto. The North parts of the city have huge Asian populations and luxury brands are everywhere. To the point you barely pay attention anymore. A twenty something Asian kid in a $150,000 car is common scenery it's a bore. M2 is still rare to see but it's typical BMW front end will make it just another car around here especially in MG. Only those in the know will pay attention.

Originally the first stripes I got ended up being more of a sticker so I got nervous and removed them before they fully dried. Now I have vinyl, I think as long as you're careful whenever you remove them, they won't damage the xpel. I guess I'll have to wait and find out what happens to mine. I put them on myself.

I'll tell you what, I noticed the black M2 that passed me on 95 south yesterday just south of St Augustine. Only 2nd one I've seen in wild. First time I heard one at speed. I had the top down and it sounded nice. My car should be here in a few days so I was just a tad envious.

My wife was driving her M2 and was being tailgated by a 3 Series BMW. Ends up he was just admiring her car and as soon as he could pull next to her gave her a thumbs up. Very cool.

I've had the car almost a year now, and have driven it about 15,000km. In Europe, I've had:

1. Truck Driver roll up and ask about the M2
2. Had an i8 follow in the mountains for a bit and got several waves before we split
3. Had m4 pull ahead and shadow a few times
4. Had comments at a gas station

In Canada, I've had:

1. Had a bus driver wave and give a thumbs up
2. Caddie SUV pull up asking about the car
3. 135i tail and pull up and tail and pull up etc and roll down the window and talk with me in rush our traffic
4. Had an elderly couple in a Audi TT talk with me a few minutes at a mall
5. Had a random dude comment on the car and colour at the gas station
6. Had a random dude talk with me at McDonald's

At first the attention put me off, but it's all positive so I try to be as enthusiastic as they are.

But yeah, so LBB def get's attention...

So far no one seems to notice me on the road, unless it's a slammed and blacked out e93.

Then they seem to roll up behind me out of nowhere and floor it past me.

Driving up I25 N of Denver on Sunday, in my mirrors I saw some guy on a crotch rocket slicing through traffic. As he got up close to me he slowed way down, winding up cruising about 10 feet behind me in the next lane, then eased up next to my window, gave me a big thumbs up, and rolled back into the throttle.

Yesterday, I had a guy in a GTR pull up next to me and yell, "nice car!"

Believe it or not, the most common thing I get is dudes pulling up behind me, whipping out their phones, and taking shots of my car's butt.

When I valet, the guy who drives the car says something, without fail. The one last weekend politely asked me to come back as soon as possible. He drove it about 100 yards around a loop with the windows down, clearly listening to the exhaust (which is stock, but with a Fabspeed DP). Got out smiling.

They are still pretty rare around here. I may have seen two on the road in 4 months. I've been in my two local BMW dealerships, of all places, and the salesmen call each other and then huddle around the car, taking pics and asking questions about the Dinan set-up I have.

The MG isn't flashy, but it's a pretty classy color in my opinion.

A guy in his camaro rolled his window down and yelled, "nice paint job!" When i told him it was a wrap his jaw dropped.

A guy on his motorcycle cruised next to me for a few miles checking out the car and gave me a thumbs up and a nod.

Waves and looks are pretty rare in Los Angeles. It happens.. usually by enthusiasts though. Think I get more looks from chicks in my '16 Prius, but I am a pretty handsome guy.

I was surprised at the attention she got while driving through Europe on my ED. Multiple times guys would fly up next to me on the autobahn, slow down, give a thumbs up and then keep going.

In Lucerne Switzerland she turned a few heads, mostly car enthusiasts I'd imagine that are familiar with the M brand.

This week the TPC Sawgrass was underway in Jacksonville, FL. I was cruising around on Saturday and noticed a Rolls Royce pulling up behind me. The two guys in the front looked a bit gangster, but then they rolled up next to me and I saw a guy in the back give me a thumbs up. The guys in the front were clearly drivers/body guards maybe?

Anyway, felt pretty cool to get a thumbs up from a guy being driven around in a RR.

When I got on the exit to hit the interstate onramp I saw he rolled down his window. I'm assuming to listen to the nice exhaust note of the ///M.
