I think no, they say it increases clearence to 19s

https://www.racingbrake.com/RB-Rotor...bmw-irp-04.htm

Also logically speaking an inch is 25.4mm, the disk is 20mm smaller (diameter to diameter), so a disc decrease of 20mm should not be enough to clear an "extra" inch of wheel.

Could be possible if the caliper was lower profile but that ain't the 2NH caliper's strong suit :/

BUT maybe RB brake kit + Apex forged wheels would clear?

Yea, seems like the caliper is the issue.

Per Apex their new wheels give a greater clearence, you only need roughly 10mm to achieve the same clearence as OEM with the 19s.

Whether it is worth the hassle and cost, ill leave up to you.

Has anyone been able to fit 18 inch wheels over the rear calipers? Considering an M2C, but I'd want to run a square 18 inch setup for the track. I understand the front would definitely need an aftermarket BBK but having to change the rears is a significant chunk of change.

So we test fitted BMW 763M wheels in racing spec (11x18”) with RB rotors (380x36mm) with 2NH calipers and it fits, but there is just paper thin space, that means it’s useless and it won’t work. I’m sorry guys, maybe some other wheels will fit, but I guess that 513M will be same story

These race spec 763M 18x11" square are cheaper than staggered 19x9" plus 19x10" for M2comp You can order them at dealer if you try hard enough

Maybe M2CS Racing 10.5" wide 513m are better suited to 380mm cw (Alcon) 6pot caliper ??

When I get them to my hands I can try them... but don't think it will be any time soon Want to try 513m rears (18x10"), but not many people own them in my area.

but M4 GT4 is using also 6pot calipers... just the OEM 6 pots are huuuge

I assume you want to try the 513M rears on the front? I might be able to try that for you if my friend has not sold his spacers.

I have 513M with 265/285 NS-2R and so far no rubbing. Going to the track next week so will report back!

Whatever brakes I get next they must be dust seal less as I burn through them too quick.

Yeah, I want to try 513M rears (18x10”) over my front brakes with optional grey 6-pot calipers and smaller 380x36mm rotors as I mentioned earlier. Tried ti test fit M4 GT4 763M (18x11”) but there was just minimum space between wheel and caliper.

Btw I drive 265/30/19 front (plus 10mm spacers) and 295/30/19 (no spacer) with no rubbing, with more than stock camber front and rear on street spec 19” 763M

I dont have more camber, and the size is a bit irrelevant seing as different tires have different real world sizes.

The OEM star spec PSS tires are a 20 - 30 mm narrower at the tread than indicated. The NS2R is only 10 mm narrower but very very square with a 5 mm radius between the tread and sidewall.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...ot+Sport+Cup+2 check this link out under specs. You will see the same "size" tire has different physical dimensions.

The sidewalls are pretty much flush with the arches

Ah I forgot about your brakes. Can you measure the clearance you need? then I can possibly double check. ie min interior dia of the wheel.

So today I tried 513M 18x10” and it’s same story like M4 GT4 spec 763M (18x11”), they fit but just about 1mm soace between rim and caliper

Custom brackets and 374-375mm rotors would give more clearance than oem 400 rotors and 19" wheels !

Did you trial fit 9" front wheel too ?

I’m done with trying, will stay with 19” 763M wheels... Last chance is 18” Apex wheel, when I get one to my hands, I’ll try it. But I guess that will be same story anyway.

Did not try 9” 513M, guy who came with these had 18x10” square setup.

Did you get a chance to try the Apex wheels? I am also interested in this 380mm rotor conversion but your post really showed some concern on the brake clearance.

There is a guy that fits the M5 caliper with 380mm rotor on apex 18inch wheel (https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1&postcount=10). I am thinking if you grind down the bottom part of the caliper maybe the clearance issue will get better.
