That's good news, looks like BMWNA realizes the need to temper the iron while it's still hot.
Hope my dealer gets new M2C allocation this week, I am first on the list.

Yea I called last week on Friday and still Scheduled for Production, BMW Rep told me the same thing, should start this week or next. Will check back in again on Friday of this week to see if anything changed lol.

Been stuck on 'production begins' for 10 days now and hoping for some movement soon. Is the new My Garage tracking system delayed like the previous online tracking was?

yeah, same here. Not sure if it's delayed - maybe by a day or so would be my guess.

Same here. The screenshot the dealer sent me last week showed an estimated production date of 11/10/18. So, hopefully should see a status change by Saturday.

Dang. In hindsight, I should've waited to take this allocation. I secured one for a later build the week prior to Jimmy giving me a call to let me know this one was available.

Oh well.. I suppose it's just an extra 3 agonizing weeks of waiting haha.

Maybe it got pushed to week 48.

Week 45 status updated overnight and jumped 5 steps in My Garage from Production Begins all the way to Quality Check so there is definitely a delay and/or lack of tracking through the assembly process in My Garage. So I expect you guys should have good news here soon.

Moved to "Entering Assembly line" this morning, week 45.

Edit: Shortly after "Entering assembly line" it went to "Assembly Beings" and now, this morning, it's on "Quality Checks". So, these status updates come rapid fire, at times, it would seem.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of you other west coast guys. Mine went from "Production Begins" sometime on Monday to "Quality Check" a couple days ago, and now it is in "Awaiting Carrier Assignment."

Do you think it will be delivered (Norcal) before year-end? I was actually hoping it wouldn't arrive until January for various reasons.

I'd say there's a good chance it could arrive before year-end. How about I take yours?

Finally changed this morning! I can stop bothering the BMW genius people now haha. I guess mine will be finished towards the end of week 47.

It's not a limited production car, so I imagine the numbers would be similar to the 2018 model? I dunno.

You joke, but I'm genuinely curious to know what your build is now. Mine is LBB/blue stitch, manual, premium package. I honestly don't know if it is silver (multi-color) or black wheels. It says "black" wheels, but I actually wanted the multi-color. I didn't have them change it because a part of me wanted to order the black wheels also.

Possibly end of December if everything goes smooth and there are no delays lol. I'm guessing Mid-January most likely. Time will tell lol!
