Also, for those that have also fitted the MP coilovers, perhaps a difficult question to answer, but which has made the bigger difference to the car, how it drives and how it performs.

Thanks
The lighter 763M wheels do make a difference. But you are going to notice much more difference from a suspension upgrade (and you are going to like it). Both make sense but I'd begin with a suspension upgrade.

Best price I've been able to find shipped in the US just rims, caps, and TPMS is $3830 from bmwpartsworldwide.com which seems to be a legit dealership in Florida.
Can anyone beat that price?

I'll use new black wheel weights when it comes time to re-mounting the tyres.

I've taken the tyres off them already and they are already at the paint shop!

Those Cup2 tires are so dreamy.

What color are you painting them?

The wheel weights? Just a little testors will work perfectly, and super cheap.

Going with a satin gunmetal/grey colour, something not too silver-ish and also not as dark as orbit grey.

I just did mine in Prismatic EVO Grey. It's a bit darker than I would have liked, but the best I could come up with. I think they turned out fantastic though.

That looks amazing! I reckon it is spot on.. it is very similar to what I'm doing. It is hard to find a happy medium between ferric and orbit.

You can say that again! And to add to the confusion, the same color looks so different in different light.

I love how it has a hint of blue to match the car’s color.

Reflection of the blue sky above. EVO Grey is literally void of color, which is why I chose it, but it reflects the sky pretty well (satin finish).

Ah I thought the "prismatic" evo grey was part of the color. Company name.

It helps too that the photo was well taken. . My car is the same color and I would be happy to be rocking that in my car given a chance. Just can't justify the expense at this time.

In real life there is a lot less blue in the reflection of the wheel. Most of my editing time is literally trying to get my photo's as close as possible to real life (other than the depth of field). Camera's are trash, all of them. The best camera/lens in the world at the moment is about a billionth of what your eye sees/can do. It sucks, but it's part of the game.

One thing I've noticed is that LBB looks so much more green in real life. I can look at LBB with my eyes and in my iPhone camera app at the same time and you can already see the blue push before you click the shutter. Have seen this with other cameras too. I'm not sure if it lies with the sensor's color filters or de-Bayering algorithms or what. I don't think it's the display because the photo looks that way even on some very warm displays. The human eye is more sensitive to green but that should already have been taken into account by the Bayer pattern and ISP color correction matrix.

Yes, you're absolutely right, almost all camera's make the car more blue than it really is, deleting the green, in every kind of lighting. I try to edit it back in, but I can never really capture the color. Beyond that, everyone's monitor is different as well.

I do like this edit on my home monitor (calibrated IPS, but at work it looks too green). Still, it's closer than the second shot, which is how the camera wants it to be seen.

rear shot photo: judging by the shadow, the sun is about to set and the color temp is now much warmer, adding yellow to the blue, which is making the blue look greenish. in fact the grey wheels now look "gold-ish.

I'd say the bottom one (¾ frontal shot) is much closer to the real color.

That's stunning, maybe one of my favorite yet. The lighter shade really does make the wheels look more concave than the darker shades. Nicely done!
