GasBurnlife(landapanda) even has a video on how to pack your car.

It’s one of the great advantages of the M2 vs a Porsche.
I’ve packed a S2000, C6Z, Cayman, and now my M2 for 3 day weekend with camping. And I have been so impressed with how much stuff you can fit in an M2.

If you do end up going to CCC please let me know! I'll lookout for you-- my buddy is the head instructor for that event, so I always go to both of them (april/sept) along with FATT's and TrackDaze
Hey, is CCC actually open track, or do they do run groups?

Run groups — each group gets 4 runs 20min sessions

Seat time events at summit point are the best for track time (only for solo approved drivers)— seat time just alternates “pass by” / “no pass by” all day long, with 20min sessions (8 sessions total if you do them all)

I still prefer the way track daze does things (and from the value perspective 2 day events). They do 3 30min sessions, then open 2 hr block for solo drivers at the end of the day

Thank you everyone for the help.

As M1500Z I just could not pay more money for a slower tire so I ended up going with the Bridgestones. Also with the $50 instant rebate + $70 mail in rebate it is just too good of a deal. Now I just need the camber plates so I don't incinerate this set of tires as quickly but be more diligent at managing heat as well.

Anyways, I will update when I get a track day with these, will be on a new track so it will be hard to do a proper comparison but I am sure I will feel the difference pretty easily.

ZM2 and I as well as others commute. I just did a road trip to MoSport and RoadAmerica the following weekend. Carried four tires inside the car and 2x 5 gal fuel jugs. 3k mikes in 10 days. And I have a half cage and race seats in it. The car is beast!

I need to make an updated video on the 1/2 cage; I fit the four wheels into the car with the half cage in it. It’s a custom built cage with a hoop between the rear seats. I put two wheels where the rear seats used to be one wheel in the trunk and one wheel on the front passenger seat.

Is it someone local to us that did it? I'd be interested in getting a similar setup for my car

The cage was built by Mitch Piper in Northern Virginia. I’ll post a vid of the walkthrough.

Let Mitch know Peter sent you. Mitch is one of the best cage builders on the east coast.

Connected with Mitch— his prices for a custom, installed and painted rollbar are super reasonable. Will work out a timeline with him to get it done, but first I need to go test sit in some seats at OG Racing

OP— sorry for hi-jacking your thread a little bit, but you’ll love the RE71RS

I've got some fresh 71RS's that I'm going to burn up on Thursday at NJMP. Should be fun!
