Canceled Ext. Warranty
I just canceled my extended warranty. I have a 2019 M2C with 7000 miles on it and getting over 4k back. Please tell me it’s a smart move.

I agree it is a smart move. I always sell insure maintenance. Especially on a very low mileage car.

smart move.
if you can't afford a 0.001% catastrophic issue like a CH failure get the warranty if you can, dont get warranty, you will likely come out ahead financially

I purchased the car with 4300 miles in November and now have 7000. Was keepin it nice and pristine but decided I want to drive it all the time now. That’s what its for. Worst case scenario, if a couple of bad things happen, I fix and then start working on getting something else.

If you’re still unsure after reading the comments here, put something like 50% of the refund into a high-interest savings or money market account and don’t touch it. Leave it there for any repair needs that arise. If you don’t end up having any expensive repairs, you’ll literally be bucks ahead! 💰
