Canadian M2s for sale in the US

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hey BMW friends,

I have been looking at M2s down here in Atlanta GA and there seems to be quite a few for sale that have come from Quebec. I find that interesting as I never see Canadian cars for sale down here.

Does anyone know why this may be? Wondering if I should avoid them.

I noticed a few from Canada too in my search. They do tend to be less expensive but I didn't go too deep into any of them. One consideration is depending on the year and such I'm not sure about warranty transfer, etc.

My worry is they are Canadian performance center cars. I know some people have recently been duped by dealers on M3/M4 perf center cars.

Its easy to tell they are from Quebec. Thats why this thread exists.

Not much more than that or why they are in the US.

I am confused wouldn't these cars have a dash with km/h instead and slightly different options packages?

I guess they somehow got them approved to sell in the US. Here is an example of one of the Quebec M2 I am talking about.

Interesting... looks like maybe that dealer bought the car or somehow imported it over and registered it as with the current conversion rate you can really get a good deal.

Personally, I would stay miles away - no idea on warranty, how recalls would work, how the dash is setup in KM etc etc.

I assume they did the km to mph change on the dash. Cant be registered in the US without it.

But yeah Im scared to actually buy one. Lol
