Jon,
Can't see any reason why it wouldn't fit s55 too. It looks to me that PCV bypass connections - to divert into OOC - in the same place for both S55 & N55. TBH my only concern about MMR OOC would be the position of it relative to F8x s55 CFRP U brace, which I have retrofitted to my m2 N55. The idea of removing the CFRP brace to service OOC is a non-starter for me. For TMS s55 OOC they have the optional add-on of valved drain line from u/side of OOC so that OOC can be emptied with CFRP brace in situ. p13/28 of PDF below... http://bd8ba3c866c8cbc330ab-7b26c6f3...stallation.pdf MMR unit has the tapping in the underside so might ask them if they have a valved drain hose to go with it as this may then be the go-to solution for F87 n55 & s55 ie dipstick to check level and drain line...

Really like the look of that MMR OOC, functional and bling! They are a good company to deal with too, I have their paddle shifters and the first set arrived with a manufacturing flaw. The replaced them with no problems or delays.
I wonder if the MMR OOC for the N55 could be modified with the TMS drain set up? I'm thinking it can't be that hard to replicate...might even be able to order the parts directly from TMS.

BMS Oil Catch Can
Hey guys, for anyone curious and wanting to install a OCC please be advised that the BMS OCC does not fit the F87 M2 at all. It is impossible to jam it into the spot they suggested. I actually contacted BMS before I bought it just to confirm it fits, they said their engineer "Jason" specifically designed it and it fits no issues. I edited it up a picture for BMS that I attached for reference. They never really admitted to the reason why they told it fits but clearly it doesn't, but after some back and forth they did refund me for the mounting kit.
And now for the good news. The BMS OCC is very good quality, so I decided to do my own custom mounting and piping. I've attached some pictures for results. For the F87 M2 the best place to mount it after a lot of messing around is towards the back. I actually routed the intake OCC piping under a bit and didn't have to cut up the engine cover. The exit piping from the OCC I used a bigger silicon 45 connection and connected directly to the OEM vent pipe. The mount itself is made from home depot aluminium slats I bought and cut and drilled myself with just a hand saw and some drills I got from amazon. All in all I think I spent 50 bucks on the custom mount and piping. (See pictures for details) For anyone who does want a solution they don't want to mess around with, I think the ECS N55 kit probably has the best potential to fit the F87 M2. The mounting position is very similar to where I ended up mounting mine. However I can't confirm, I never bought the kit but looking at the position and pictures. I think ECS is probably the best shot. |

According to Nathan at MMR m2 OOC is not x compatible between n55 to S55 as S55 right air intake lid is in the way. Am sure that could be adapted but if they have one in the pipeline probably best to wait. BP

I had the same problem and ended up returning mine after sending them multiple photos of why it wouldn't fit. I believe they ended up having the opinion that the 18 has different lines that get in the way relative to the 16 & 17. Either way, I run without one. :-(

I posted this in another thread so I'll just paste it here:
Check out the Turner Motorsports OCC. It has a mounting bracket that is made specifically for the F87 M2 engine bay. It also includes a dip stick to check the catch can content levels as well as a drain system so that you don't need to remove the can in order to drain it. I've looked at BMS, Mishimoto, FTP, and ECS catch cans and this one definitely seems to be the best out of those because of the dip stick, drain, and specific mounting bracket. Highly recommend! I haven't installed it yet but when I do I'll try to take some pics. |

So I installed the Turner Motorsports OCC the other day. Install went smooth. The only difficult part really is tightening down the hose clamp for the hose the goes under the coolant expansion tank. The mount is made perfectly for our engine bay so no worries there. The only things I need to do now are add the drain system and cut my carbon engine cover so I can put it back on because one of the hoses interferes.
I'll take some pics for you guys of the installed product once I get to adding the drain system |

Smelled of oil, had some sludge in the bottom. This was on for maybe 2 months but only 1k miles or so.
Edit: Mishimoto oil catch can on an M2C |

Yeah it's better than having that going into the intake tract that's for sure.

It took me 5-10min or so to remove the brace and I don't see an issue with removing the brace each time as it's super easy. I guess maybe not everyone has the tools and torque wrench handy. I'm considering installing the Mishimoto drain plug/line and using the line to drain when needed. |
