Since this turned into grammar test verse math test. The question in video uses “have” so present tense and question in post uses “were” past tense so the question is different and analysis in the video does not answer the question. Plus the use of period and commas are different.

This is like kids game telephone where you tell the first kid a saying, after each kid tells the next kid the saying, by the time it gets to last kid the saying no longer make sense.
