Also wired up the battery tender, which I had to do twice since I first did it to the trunk and then looking up the forums learned that people do it under the hood. |

Installed a Remus sport exhaust with AA single mid pipe.
Surprisingly mild in comfort mode, not much louder than stock. The cold start is also not much worse than stock. Cruising around in comfort, I’d say it’s maybe a 10% increase in volume. The interesting thing is you can hear some mild burbles even with them coded off. Very mild, not annoying and I quite like it. In sport modes, with valves open, it’s about 50% louder than stock from what I can hear in the cabin. I’ve got ASD and burbles coded out. The tone is deep, not much raspiness. I haven’t noticed much droning if any, but I’ll have to drive the car more. Pretty happy with the results. |

Finally switched over to my winter wheel/tire set-up, first time doing it myself.
Not as easy as I thought, but I didn't have any power tools. Need to get a proper impact wrench for next time. Took me about 2 hours total. |

Mine is also my daily granted I work from home coding my life away so mine comes out whenever I feel the desire to do so. She's meant to be driven. It is winter in the Northeast and yet I still decided to drop in the Mosselman's as I've been itching to get the custom tune from Bend going. (Me a year ago, I'm stopping after coilovers )

I'd skip the power tools for wheels and save your money for something better. It doesn't take that much time by hand, and you really can't trust the torque settings on them. Mostly what an impact gun will do is eventually cause some damage, either to a wheel or the hub/threads. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

You can jack at the front point only, just go a little higher and it lifts front and rear wheels off the ground no probs.
Wouldn't bother with an impact wrench unless you need it regularly, you'll still need a torque wrench to tighten anyway. Breaker bar is fine and you've got one already, then straighten out the bar and spin out the bolts by hand. Useful thing is a deep plastic coated socket to avoid wheel damage if you don't have one already.. Last edited by doughboy; 01-04-2024 at 03:51 PM.. |

+1 on the plastic coated socket. Impact is nice to have though, on my other car its a must, I can't get the lugs out with a breaker bar. |

I got an electric impact and felt like it changed my life. So quick to get the lugs off. I usually free hand them back in and finish with a torque wrench

Done a couple of things or two in the last couple of weeks...
Fittings hood, fenders, & trunk... Panels taken off & sent to paint - oem back on. Put on the logging tire setup... First run back on the street - no grip https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WrKopocD0Pg |
