So i'm driving back from my work out at the Kona Kai on Shelter Island in Point Loma..and ..right in front of me are 3 new (2012) car models parked with their German Drivers having lunch..the 3 seies is all masked out with the crazy black and white designs...that car is much larger than the 3 we see now!!! Also, they had a mini , 2 door, coupe, the new one that looks very cool...but..the one that got me was the X1..in the coffee brown..looks larger than i expected..with big pirelli's on it..guy said it had the n55 engine set for USA..??..Is this possible ??..Great looking cars..I was stoked... GreatDay...They are testing street/road driving conditions in the area..so heads up.....

They asked that I don't take pixs, but I could look up close , and they even opened the doors so i could see the interiors...they were very cordial and were great representatives for the company....they asked how i liked my 135 cab.. how my ED went..did i get to drive it in europe (3000 mi ) before i turned it over to shipping...it was a spontaneous event...and they really didn't try to hide anything..but..I had to ask..no volunteering anything...

A few months back I saw an X1 with 35i badging on the side in OC, so with your confirmation, it looks like a 300hp N55 X1 is on it's way to the US. I would expect them to release it together with the 28i 245hp version in the fall.
