Just got my 2019 M2 Comp 6MT in Sunset Orange

Sold my Estoril Blue 335i M, which treated me so well and now onto my first M car. Super stoked.

Pleasure to meet everyone.

Anyone in Queens, NY? Would love to meet the crowd one day!

SO does nothing for me on a 230/240 but it’s so hot on the M2. Congrats.

Congrats! Part of me does wish i got a flashy color like SO or LBB, but i couldnt say no to BSM personally.

I'm in fresh meadows. I've only seen one other M2Comp so far, a BSM in Whitestone. Where in Queens are you?

Congrats, beautiful M2, great choice and thanks for keeping the MT alive.

I also had an EB2 335 (that was totaled in Brussels). Went on to the F80 for a while and now in M2c.

Just love this transmission! Just gotta nail 1st to 2nd gear as its a bit rough, but all good after that. Was that the case for you too?

I've had quite a few MT BMWs and the biggest difference for me moving to the F80 and M2 was the rev matching. I'm used to it now but it took a bit. others have complained about the 1st to 2d "notchiness" but I think I'm just numb to it

Used to live in Queens. In CT now......for the next few months anyway, lol.

Love the color, it was either SO or LBB for me.
Ended up getting a better deal on a LBB, but if I were to go it all over again, I’d definitely try to get the SO next time.
Good choice with the transmission.
The 1->2 shift doesn’t bother me, I think it’s smoother than any Tremec gearboxes.
