Which power bleeder do you recommend?
Since I'm swapping brakes soon I've been buying little things to make the job easier, and most of the videos on YouTube show people using power bleeders.
I've been looking at THIS one, but would like to hear your thoughts. I'm looking for something quality, but don't want to go overboard. |

I've had my Motive bleeder for 8+ years now with no issues. If you go with them I'd recommend getting the black label version. It comes with the 1109 red metal cap and swivel head. Makes it much easier to get on and less risk of it popping off at pressure. If I was buying one now I'd look into ones with quick disconnects.

I confess, I've just used an Easy Bleed canister with a one way valve to bleed and flush my brakes for the last couple of decades.
It means you can bleed the brakes without the need for someone else to pump the pedal. Still a bit worried by the YouTube videos in which they bleed the lines closest to the master cylinder 1st mind... |

I have a sealey pressure bleeder - it's worked with no issues for at least a decade. Great purchase!

I bought some speed bleeds (http://www.speedbleeder.com/) and am super happy with them. Easier and cheaper than the alternatives.

At a shop environment the Steirius has been the greatest electric bleeder with 10 liters of capacity. No issues for 17+ years. With so many requests for different brake fluids the Mityvac MV6840 has yield years of trouble free service and very affordable. You will not run out of fluid with this one, even when trying to flush the ABS/DSC system. If used daily, the hose will need to be replaced every 6 months.

I bought a set of these for one of my other performance cars years ago and never installed them. Not sure what scared me off, but maybe I was over-reacting. |

Swapped out OEM pads with Akebonos, installed Stoptech SS lines and flushed the brakes this weekend. Motive worked flawlessly. I do wish I got the quick disconnect as screwing together the reservoir cap adapter to the Motive is a pain in the @ss. Besides that, everything went flawlessly. One question I did have for the folks that have a Motive. How do you clean it out?
