Bay area windshield repair

So as I'm detailing my car after getting back from a fucked crank hub and paid $3500 for the fix have my windshield wipers up the top piece comes off while the main body still attached slammed down my windshield and completely cracked it. Like wtf is the windshield this fucking delicate a windshield wiper destroyed it!?!? Anyone in the Bay area know a decent shop to get this done asap??

This is why I lift and hold each wiper by hand when cleaning and set it down immediately afterward.

That sucks big time and is a design flaw with these wipers. It happened to me about a month after I got mine. I had SafeLite do the replacement and have had no complaints.

Avoid Safelite if you can. I own an insurance agency and Safelite only offers a 1 year warranty and unless your auto policy has OEM parts endorsement, their glass, IMO, isn't so great.

Call SpeedyGlass in Bay Area. SpeedyGlass has a lifetime warranty on their work and if you don't have the OEM parts endorsement on your Comprehensive coverage, at least you'll most likely get Pilkington glass, who is a BMW glass manufacturer anyway.

Basically you'd be getting BMW glass without the BMW logo stamp on the windshield, and the right tint color too so long as you provide SpeedyGlass your VIN number when ordering service to ensure they get you the right glass.

Ended up going with UNIQUE PAYLESS AUTO GLASS since to they're insured through progressive and using OEM glass. Thanks for the suggestions guys
