Rubber Covers on top hat

Does anyone know the part numbers for the 2 covers that go on top of our top hats? I tore mine and wanted to replace them.

Actually not those things.
I've attached a picture that should make it clearer what I'm asking for.

I had trouble finding it in the realoem catalog.

Think you're talking about the two cowl covers?

That's what a community forum is for, go cry somewhere else.

Yea, this comment was unnecessary; the OP had a legitimate question, trying to narrowing down an obscure part number - I've been there before, where even the parts bible, Real OEM, felt like I was reading Sanskrit.

The are also instances where the parts info overlap, from one diagram to description.. It's difficult to articulate but it takes a certain amount of know-how and reasoning to zero in on the exact part number, so you can't just assume everyone is on the same level, especially in a business where there are always revisions. Pitching a question on a public outlet and bouncing of suggestions, sounds like a reasonable method of getting an answer.

It's cost nothing to be here, there is not even Ads on the APP and it cost just as much to ignore a thread, without adding a snooty sentiment.

And beside, it's up to the moderators to decide what's relevant and what's not, so just let it be..

I think he was asking about a different part to the links posted above.

As it's missing in the picture, he appears to need the actual rubber cover that goes over the strut tower. So that would be number 3 in this:

Thanks for the help guys, so it turns out the parts I was looking for were the ones mentioned in the last post but for whatever reason it looks like those are the wrong part numbers.

They're too small for our cars which is odd.

Correct - realoem and even BMW etk quote the smaller OGM2 strut covers for M2C, when in fact you need the larger more rubbery strut top covers from M3/M4

Correct part no 51768066661 and 51768066662 - item # 3 in the link below
