Hi everyone,
Im expecting my car soon and am just curious about how many miles I should expect on the odometer when I pickup the vehicle. Kinda paranoid because of a friends experience with his 1M which "brand new" had 36 miles on it. Granted I'm working with a completely different dealer but still...

I think this has been covered. Not sure if you searched. Mine had (I think) 6. Maybe fewer. Seems like under 10 is typical.

I had 6 miles on the car and that included my salesman getting gas in it.. He even asked me if it was okay for him to drive it to get gas or if I wanted to wait and drive to the gas station with him

Picking mine up today. Saw it yesterday after it came off the truck though and it had 14...seems a bit high. Let's hope it's still 14 tonight.

I just picked mine up this week and it had 13 miles on it, at delivery.

Annoyingly my Sales Assistant told me on day of delivery it had 6 miles on the clock.

4 weeks later when I collected the car it had 15 miles.

I know they've taken it out and hammered it about. I was quite annoyed and was going to say something but didn't want to come across as pathetic!

You should have said something, because they could have done irreversable damage in that time driving it.. I made it clear to my salesman that if anyone drove my car from the day it was delivered to pick up or if they kept it in the showroom for people to look at it I would refuse delivery and contact BMW NA about it..

On a ordered car, unless prearranged with the dealer, I would question anything above 10 miles. Some mileage is expected when at port, getting gas, etc.

lol I drove my car to get gas. I had 9 miles when I did take delivery.
