Any suspension work to fit that square setup? and what ET did you choose?
They are ET35 so front requires 12mm or bigger spacers. I run -3 front and -2 rear camber. Also, the car is slightly lowered on Ohlins.
Any photos of your setup? And which 12mm spacer did you end up going with? Have a similar setup with 265/35/18 with toyo r888r and a 5mm spacer is not enough.
I posted couple pics on the first page of this thread. I'm running 15mm spacers from Turner but their 12.5mm would work fine too (I checked the clearance with 10mm spacers and Ohlins but there was maybe 2-3mm gap at most with -3degree camber). I chose 15mm spacers because I like more flush look since I have significant negative front camber.

Is the color choice guaranteed, or is the group buy for only the most popular selected color?

Thanks for the post! Production will be based on demand, but there is still a possibility that all 3 colors will be produced. At a minimum, the two most popular colors will be produced.

So if I purchase these wheels, does the stock suspension have the required adjustment for negative camber to account for that requirement (listed above)? I want some track wheels but I really don’t want to modify the suspension if I can avoid it (e.g. camber plates). Please advise ASAP!

<edit> Apologies...I hadn't read the entire post when I typed this via phone. I see now that there is some discussion around this topic but if I went 265 front on stock ride height, would pulling the camber pins be enough for me to daily drive and track the car on EC-7's withouth rubbing/interference?

Edit:

Front camber is not adjustable unfortunately like it is on previous BMW models with removable camber pins, so you'd may get some rubbing on full-lock turns or during hard cornering. Using a smaller tire may help in the short run, but is not recommended as it would result in a sidewall that is either too short or too tall.

With that said, I strongly recommend adding camber plates if you plan to track the car even a handful of times per year. It's a one-time cost that will drastically reduce recurring costs due to reduced tire wear. Camber plates distribute the cornering load evenly across the tread's surface, rather than putting it on the outer shoulder of the tire. In addition, you'll appreciate the increased grip in cornering knowing your tires aren't wearing prematurely.

Major Update in post #2

The first production sample wheels are here, along with a full fitment test and proper photoshoot.
Read post #2 to find out how a staggered fitment is very close to a direct fit, even with aggressive R888R tires

Did you guys get to test out the extra rubber in anger? How did it feel with the added rubber?

I wonder if BMW warranty covers the giant grooves carved out of my 788 wheel drum and the destroyed caliper paint... Surprising that made it passed QA

Proctor750,

This was simply a test fitment and small photoshoot. We did not have a chance to take the car out and give it the beans. However, we do have some photos showing the improved barrel clearances that I have dropped below.

First, you can see the clearances with the OEM wheels:

Here are some EC-7 pictures, showing improved barrel and spoke side clearances:

This added clearance will prevent rocks and other road debris getting jammed in the wheel and damaging the barrels or the paint on the calipers.

Good job. My front 788Ms both have grooves from rocks. BMW gets a "fail" on that one.

The Black M2 is using the OEM tires on 19x9.5" ET22 front and 19x10" ET25 rear wheels. Some negative camber is dialed in as well and likely required in order to prevent rubbing.

Thanks for the post! All colors will be shipping in July. Although the group buy has ended, you can still pre-order them at a discount directly on our website:

Hi Apex, would 255/35 in front and 275/35 in rear work with these wheels and avoid the need for any camber work (assuming Pilot Sport 4S)? I'm sure a lot of us are looking for plug n' play and would rather not have to adjust the suspension to ensure there is no rub. Would appreciate your thoughts!

Hey there!

While the 255/275 stagger can fit, please keep in mind that these tire sizes will be quite stretched. To prevent this, we would recommend sticking with the 265/285 tire stagger.

We did test our 19x9.5 ET28 up front on a standard M2 Competition and even with a 265mm R888R, the tire sat flush with the fender. We would recommend a small amount of camber up front if planning to run an R compound tire similar to this.

There is a good chance that with a standard and less aggressive 265mm street tire, would provide a much easier fit. This would be ideal as it would still provide proper sidewall support and will likely not need any camber adjustment.

Please please make the Arc 8 wheels in 18" that will clear OG M2 brakes. From what I'm reading in multiple threads that is what everyone is interested in, not the 19" versions, myself included. 18" Arc 8s with beefy tires is straight porn.

We certainly agree that the 18" ARC-8 would look great on the M2 and all other F8x chassis cars. Unfortunately due to the concave spoke design and the natural design of the barrel, the ARC-8 is not quite as "Big Brake" friendly as the other 18" wheels that we have on offer. Brake clearance is something that we take very seriously so thank you for the feedback!

The 19" wheels we have developed here are intended for those with the M2 Competition with the larger 400mm OEM brake system. This kit is VERY large and requires a minimum of 19" wheels to clear, regardless of design or manufacturer.

I run this setup (255/275) on PS4s with no issues on OEM wheels and suspension.

I recently installed M Performance Suspension and camber Plates and plan to wait for the new 19" Apex wheels (9.5"/10.5") and go to 265/285 setup.

So the new EC7's in 19x9.5 et28 and 19x10.5 et45 changes things a bit (I have some on order).

I am determined to get RS4's on this thing. With the above EC7's on stock suspension with camber plates (~-2.5 camber atm) will 275/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear work? I know the tire height is 1.5% change which is just outside of the green zone but..

Thoughts?
