S55 M3/M4 have bad stock mufflers as well, always bothered me. One thing I loved about the M2 was how clean the muffler was, made the car super clean looking from the rear. The M2C and G80 mufflers both look massive. Was hoping that was for Europe only.

Never liked Sunset Orange as i've seen it on the road before and still don't like it on the M2C, I had high hopes when the press pictures were first leaked but I knew it was going to look like this.

On the other hand, thanks for the pics of the interior. Confirmed my decision to choose orange stitching, looks better than blue and will give me a good reminder of the 1M

Wow, it still looks like an M2! Some threads on here would have you believe the Competition is like a whole new vehicle!

Not sure that new black grill works with that colour.

As others have said, those wheels will be an interesting clean if you're into detailing!

In the pics the orange stitching looks horrid but might be different in the flesh.

The Sunset Orange would never be my choice.

I had a wonderful orange car:

But this SO looks brown and dirty.
I also do not like the new front.
In my opinion it is too edgy compared to the very smooth and round wheel cases.
The new wheels are not really better than the M437.
But indeed: it is still a beautiful sports coupe.

Your beautiful 1M looks exactly like mine. Matt black rims and the Lightweight front lip spoiler

Look at the front fender. So strikingly beautiful, so race car like...

Anyway, back to topic. Yes the SO is a disappointment. Hope they will drop it next year and use a lighter Orange colour instead.

Probably the color. This wheel has already been associated with the M2C.

Not really a fan of the muted colors. I'd love to see an edition like the Lime Rock E92 M3 at the end of the M2C production run. Fire orange or an equally bold color would look awesome on this car.

IMHO I think it's a damn shame they took away a color offering like MGM and added this.

I think this color is going to have a VERY low take rate. If you like it, great, more power to you, but they would sell far more MGM than they will SO.

SCOTT26 Please do something about this Sunset Orange color. I know that for 2019 MY is going to be hard to change the factory colors but the M2 has at least two more model years. Sakhir Orange is already in the current BMW lineup…

MG is Common, but it's Common for a reason.
And it looks spectacular on an M2 with black accents.

That colour doesn't work with the black accents. Would be interesting if the grille didn't look like a wash of indistinct black plastic.
