I didn't realize the front bumper cover change so much, I actually like the new more aggressive look except the 3 slits and the ugly huge unibrow kidney grill

This will solve the problem and I am almost 100 % sure iND will carry one for M2 similar to what they offer for F90 M5.

https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=IND-F90-CTRIM

This will make M2C actually look better than M2 (if you prefer bigger grilles but not connected look)

Awesome. Could we please see it with the CF fenders, roof, & trunk?

Great work. Actually more different than I initially thought - almost LCI 2.0

Was a bit afraid of the new front in the beginning but prefer it in this comparison. Great job

So, better in every way?

It'll be interesting to look back in 2 years and see the OG M2 front bumper design looking dated.

I don't believe the M2C has a removable section in the middle of the front kidney grill. That section on the F90 M5 is where the forward facing camera is installed.

Correct, you won't be able to buy just the middle section for M2 Competition. If you don't like the single grill look, you'd be looking at either buying a new full grill that is painted differently or having your car's existing grill painted and re-installed.

I personally love it, every detail that has changed looks better to my eye than the original M2 so I'm very happy.

Not alone. With this mashup, I like the original M2 better. * BOTH are sexy AF though.

Buying a car in a color would be a monumentally traumatic event.

That said, if they don't bring back MGM by the time I buy (MY20), I will have to flip a coin between LBB and BSM. I love black cars, but unfortunately BSM hides some of the lovely curvature of the M2's body (and I love me some body curvature!)
Yeah but BSM with orange insert will be an awesome combo!

I'm pretty sure the bumper has 2 distinct holes and the uni-grille just has a center piece that bridges over top of the middle. Can't the center part of the grill just be cut off leaving 2 pieces?

If that is the case, what a let-down...
I personally would prefer to have some separation with body color paint between two grills. But again, iND probably would be able to paint it if that does not kill the function of the middle part (if there is)

Sure but good luck cutting and smoothing a piece of shiny black plastic and leaving it looking nice. At a minimum, I would bet you would have to sand it very smooth, buff and then re-paint the two newly-separated kidneys it so yeah it could possibly be done but you'd either put a lot of time and money into it or end up with a crappy result. We're also assuming that the center section of the bumper that's underneath will look good when exposed, I doubt it's a smooth piece of bumper under there since it was designed to have the mono-grill on top of that part.

LOL Both cars look decent but I just can't appreciate the new front end.
But like most car buyers if you've ordered an M2C, then you'll "learn" to love it. Same applies for any car.

Yeah, I like the new look too. Including BMW’s move back to connected grills. I like the way the M2C front openings flare out at sharper angles, looks more aggressive. Dont know if it is just because it is fresh in my mind, but the original is already looking a bit dated. I do like both cars though. I think both versions of M2 stand out from other M models designs.
