Sorry, my bad. Either way, I hate them. Can the car be ordered with the M performance wheels in the US? Or is that option not available yet? AND is black the only color for them?

I have to say that I think I may have found what I think is the best looking M2 I've seen so far. Might go for this look:

763M wheel/tire/tpms package has been available for M2 for awhile. Just order them post delivery and sell the 788M secondhand. Funny how taste are different, I hate 666M wheels in your link.

I prefer the 763, but I don't want them with Sport Cup because mine will be a street car not a track car. I'd prefer MPS4S.

Oh, and while I like the 763, they will get an immediate paint job to orbit grey.

There are part numbers available for both front and rear 763Ms. You can just get the wheels around $3K without the tires.

Yes, but I would like to ideally order them WITH the car, so I don't have the extra set of 788's (I'm not looking at taking delivery until after M-Perf parts are available). Sure I could sell them, but I'd raher just have the car set up like I want from the start, which would be 763's with MPS4S on them. Maybe my dealer would swap the tire, since it would be a "downgrade".

Yeah, those wheels are nice. Are those the same as the M4? The only thing I don't like about them is that they are 20". I cringe enough at potholes with my 19" wheels :-)

Out the door the m2c is about 10k more than my 17 m2 pre lci. Honestly I'm not sure back then I would have wanted to shell out that much extra over my budget.

You can get the old wheels (437M) as an option in Canada. Personally, I love the new wheels.

M3CS is about double the price of the M2C, and that’s the base price delta.
No manual option, slightly more power and software tweaks. No thanks!

Agreed - really valid point as $10k is a big difference.

Just for giggles, I wonder what's the market rate is going for M2 parts + cash is for the M2C brakes, wheels, seats (not going into the suspension or engine components or seatbelts)

I can't believe there is no option for plain black seats, those colored squares look idiotic. What the hell?

Kind of, but not really. The base M2c comes standard with more features that were once optional or not offered at all. It cost more, but you're also getting more. If you have a budget and don't care/want these extra features, than yes I get that perspective as well. IMO it's an amazing deal.

All standard now...
  • s55
  • M buttons on steering wheel
  • Retuned steering, suspension and DSC
  • M Sport Seats
  • M Seat belts
  • M Mirrors
  • M Sport Brakes
  • Black grille, gills and exhaust tips
  • Front and Rear PDC
  • And every other option that came standard on LCI models (i.e. backup camera)

My California 2018 M2 LCI (6MT, LBB, CarPlay, Moonroof, UC+) would now cost $63,774 OTD and assuming the same Euro Delivery sticker price / discount; that’s $5,381 more (9.2%+) than the $58,393 OTD that I paid, and I was lucky enough to have ED and PCD. Good luck to folks, but IMHO, the Classic M2 was priced perfectly, so I’d start looking at the M3/M4 now that M2C brings most folks above $60K.

Also, isn’t CarPlay on M2C an $80 annual subscription now? http://www.bmwblog.com/2018/01/18/bm...ption-service/

People can justify their M2 purchases all day long. How much does the M2 cost NOW? How much does the M2C cost NOW? None of us have a time machine as far as I know. Granted a local dealer offered me $3500. off of a 2018 M2 but I'm getting $3000. off of the M2C through ED and it will be 1 year newer which does count if you try to sell it in a few years. That one year might just make up for the $4400. in higher purchase price.

That's exactly what BMW wants.
