If you want to pm me I can email you some pics of my car at lowest settings, I can't seem to post them off my phone. If a decent drop is all you are looking for they are great. I'm waiting on BCracing to release their coilover setup though because I would like to go a little lower than the kWs offer.

Dinan also has a HAS that I believe is M2 specific.

Question. Since the M2 is ~ 50 lbs less shouldn't the rates be different?

EDIT: corrected weight

I always wondered if there should be different rates too. I'm sure KW knows what they are doing though.

I thought the weight difference was like 50-100 lbs only.

DINAN kit is nice, but literally double the price of the KWs. Getting up into that money I'll just save up for coils.

I really want to use these on my M2, but KW deciding to use the same rates as the F8x concerns me when every other company came out with different rates.

My KW HAS is on the way to be mounted with Vorsteiners. The spring rate thing is also a small concern for me now as I didnt do enough research on the product before purchasing. I'll update you guys here with my thoughts and pictures as it comes along. Should be ready to roll early next week.

do you give it an alignment after the KW HAS was installed? Therefore it will be best to install the ground control camber plate.

Hey there, how did the springs come out? How is the ride, particularly on bumpy or potholed roads?

Thumbs up

Hey guys I've had my HAS installed for about a month. The ride is equal to or better than stock. (in my mind its better than stock) Zero issues with the HAS so far and I'm really enjoying the ride. Personally I would say to pull the trigger on the HAS as its been nothing but amazing. Should be worth the extra money over lowering springs, especially if you plan on changing wheels / tuning fitment on your vehicle.

Finally got my Vorsteiners mounted as it took me forever to decide what tires to go with. I've had these super aggressive wheels on for about two weeks and the wider rears with P Zeros have made a huge difference in handling and traction. I included a few photos for yall.

PS. Car is now dropped much more then photo below. NO rubbing issues around town or during extremely spirited driving.

TLDR: H.A.S. IS A GO.

An alignment is always a good idea after this install. I noticed a slight pull to the right after switching though I haven't had a chance to get a fresh alignment yet. Considering a corner balance as well since I plan on tracking the car.

I didn't need to tamper with any camber plates and you shouldn't either. The tuning spec wheels I got from Vorsteiner were spec'd to fit without spacers or any camber plates I was told lowering the car created a natural camber that was enough to clear the wheels. Unless you're running HUGE spacers on stock wheels I think you should be fine, but you could always play with it.

The area I live in has terrible roads! It's bearable. Im content. I think its as normal as you can expect an M2 to ride.
Ride quality has to be equal to or better than stock. I didn't feel a dramatic difference. (but better than stock in my head)

Front is 19x9 et 24 and rear 19x10.5 et 34.

Wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Tires @ 245/35/19 and 285/30/19

I'll snap some updated pics soon, I have them maxed out too. Might also need to remove that adjuster thing.
