Looks great! Now, if you could also explain how the hell you removed the stock piece I'd love to hear it. I tried to remove mine to paint the muffler and just scratched the stupid thing. I got the ends out but couldn't get the middle section to budge. How'd you do it?

I found this linked post to be helpful. I was able to use a small flathead screwdriver to relieve the pressure that the tab per #1 in the attached post puts on the diffuser tab per #3. It worked out nicely after I did this. You need to slide under the back of the car and look to the inside of the bumper/bumper cover with a flashlight. You can work your hand in there from either tailpipe side to pry on the four tabs per #1.

Mishimoto catch can installed! Also put in BMC drop in filters. The noise increase is minimal IMO, slightly more whispy upon spool up.

It's definitely a challenge. I was bitching and grunting the whole time. I didn't give up and persevered.

Nice jewelry!

Reminds me of a story...

A friend I used to work with said to another friend, who walked up sporting a new earring, “Real men don’t wear jewelry.”

The fellow barked back, “Yeah, what about that Rolex on your wrist?”

The response was, “That’s not jewelry, that’s equipment!”

So... nice equipment.

He told me on his last day that he was moving to a different state and would be at a different dealership. Either way it sucks.

Just for something to do I wanted to get Siri to lock my doors on the M2 which she now does when I ask her too.

It works with approx 30-60 second delay and i wouldn't rely on it but I wanted to try to get it to work and it did!

Cool, I'm sure that you already know it but the phone BMW Connected app can do door locking and lots of other stuff. I even used it once to find my car when the mechanic techs had it on a test drive. I have an Android so no Siri experimenting for me :-(

Love it. One of my favorite wheels for this platform. Unfortunately due to what they cost, in this economy, I can currently only afford the wheels or the car. Not both
