At least they don't block airflow to the intercooler (unlike OP's current set up)
Ya cuz that's going to make the difference in you winning that world championship. Please.

I don't have a front plate either. Never had an issue.

It's going to make a difference when your car starts overheating and you go into limp mode during a track day or a spirited summer drive. Not sure why you're being argumentative. The fact of the matter is you shouldn't have anything blocking airflow to the cooling components under any circumstances.

Yeah, I think I’ll pull it, and let them give me a warning - if that, even.

Do yourself a favor and check into Idaho's enforcement of plate laws. My last state of residence was Connecticut, and unless you were a new resident who could legitimately claim "sorry officer, I'm new, I didn't know" you had as good a chance of talking your way out of a missing-plate ticket as a speeding-in-a-school-zone ticket. Some states are very intolerant - they don't think of it as you trying to look good or feed your intercooler, they see it as you attempting to decrease the chance of your car being identified. People on the forum will encourage you to pull the plate, but they aren't paying for your ticket if you get one.

I’m still working on my break-in miles. The other night I went on a midnight drive - too much traffic during the day - to get some miles on the clock. I drove up to San Francisco from San Jose on HWY 280. On the way back I was in lane #2 and suddenly I saw something too my left. It was an animal running across the fwy. The excellent headlights illuminated it and I could see the shock on its face. Instinctively I steered right and changed to lane #3 so quickly and effortlessly; the car was amazing. I fully expected to hear it hit the side of the car. I didn’t but couldn’t believe I missed it so when I exited the fwy I had to check. No impact. Whew! Don’t think I’ll be doing that drive again anytime soon.

Wow scary! I drive from SF to the 92 almost every weekday morning and then the 101 back at night. They have the watch for deer signs on the road for a reason the 280! I have seen a couple of dead ones on the side of the road on the 92 as I head east.

I wonder if I would have seen it, I feel like the Bi Xenons before the LCI LEDs are kind of crappy.

Yeah, I hate those deer crossing signs. They should put those somewhere else

I was just on 92 yesterday. I drove 17 to Santa Cruz then 1 to Half moon bay then 92 to 280 back to SJ. Fun drive. Another 100 miles down. 92 was really busy. Seems like a popular weekend cruising spot.

Thanks! These were taken with my Canon 5D Mark IV, with a 24-70 f/2.8 lens.
