Sunset Orange is not a good looking orange color.I saw a 3 series in Sunset Orange at my dealer this week and it is a very rusty orange color.Valencia Orange looks way better. You definitely need to see the color in person before you order your car in that color.

A colour that is not available... San Marino Blue or Sahkir Orange..

So freaking annoyed there is not really a cool colour.

There is a 2 series convertible in sunset orange parked in my building garage and I've seen the color a lot and in different lightings. It is not a cool orange color, dull looks dirty.

To me the most striking and attractive oranges in this order:

Valencia Orange
Sahkir Orange
Sunset Orange <-- not really attractive but I ran out of BMW oranges.

I agree on the Sunset Orange -- yuk. It really makes one wonder why/how BMW ends up with these color choices; I would assume that a far larger component is making the most money versus pleasing the customer. If it's cheaper to throw this thing down the same 2-series line that comes today with Sunset Orange, then so be it. "Build it and they will come" anyway, so why care?

Henna Red -- now that would be a cool color to allow on the M2 Competition as it bridges the gap between orange and red, and would likely satisfy a much larger group of buyers than this awful sunset orange. I'd far, far prefer such a beautiful and non-metallic color.

I really don't understand how BMW chose these colors. I don't have any problem with having limited number of colors but these options...

Sunset Orange: Nowhere near as good as Sakhir Orange, Valencia Orange, Fire Orange etc. Most of the time has a rusty look.

Long Beach Blue: Not sure but I wouldn't call this a true blue. In certain conditions, it looks very much like teal.

Hockenheim Silver: Mineral White V2.0. Not much to say about it. Haven't seen it in person but from the samples and the feedback, it will look like white 90% of the time.

AW and BSM both nice colors and can't go wrong with them but they are not that special.

Out of these five colors, I think I'm closer to BSM. Still don't know why we cannot have a decent red.
