Any new news on your car? Curious on how Stage 2 holds up and the type of tuning you went through.

Rev it up to redline is more fun than short shift at below 6k...

Boost is boost, not making more of that up top with PS2 is clearly an indication of HPFP limit. It looks to me octane in your case is much less of an issue throughout the band at these low boost that PS2 is efficiently flowing.

BTW, did hiccup at top end go away?
Just to clarify, boost is not just boost...you must consider the additional airflow from larger compressor wheel at similar PSI

Newb question here, but is DV difference purely physical (so it will mount properly) or is it mechanical (hold/operate at a different PSI)?

Also, Norcalmav23 , how's the car? Any fueling upgrades yet (meth, PI, lpfp)?

Hi everyone, just thought I'd throw a quick update up. Just passed the 15k mark, I never ended up doing any fuel mods. Car has 13k on the clock as it has been since this thread was made. Boostane in every single tank. Zero issues or regrets. Runs like a champ

Well if Norcalmav23 is running boostane on every single tank that says a lot.

Are you using the 16oz or 32oz ?

He uses the Professional version (comes in the 32 oz can, but I think he purchases the 5 gallon pail), he uses about 15 oz per tank.

I was thinking about just throwing the whole 32 oz bottle in lol. I have the professional one, I just recently found out the Premium version is 16 oz, but they don't sell that one separately, only 5 gallons.

Just deleted a bunch of messages

Yes the 5 gallon drum, 15oz per tank. Zero issues so far. Boostane app says that 13oz will move 12 gallons from 91 to 93. Love the stuff.

Hello,

Just read this thread front to back.

Great work and you're right where I want to be.

Since you (just like me) like the oem "look, feel and function" have you considered the dual S55 HPFP upgrade? You could probably push another 100hp from your setup.

Its a bit on the expensive side though

Year in review please.

I'm a fan of your build, strong and clean.

Datalog? Dyno? Vbox/Dragy time? Show us all of them.

Were you local, I'm definitely drag racing you.

How far have you pushed your build now? What HP have you gotten from the current map revision you have? I'm essenty doing the same thing and want to just stick with pump gas without having to resort to Port injection or meth.

Possibly might go for HPFP from TTFS but we will see.

Looking for an update. If you still have the car let us know how it is running and how many miles you've put on it.

Bumping this. You’ve inadvertently built what many are contemplating/dreaming. Let us live vicariously in these boring times of quarantine!
