Hey, welcome and congrats. Nice R8. Yes that tool is for your coilovers.
In the future you might want to use an image hosting site like imgur in order to directly imbed images on here instead of posting links that drag people away to other websites. |

Congratulations on your M2. Not sure what that tool is for. Stock M2s do not come with coil overs. There is an option for M Performance coil overs though

Thank you. I used to use Photobucket, but they went off the rails at some point.

Definitely a performance edition, looks like a MY2017. If you can zoom into the pics, the side mirrors are in black, instead of factory AW or cf mirror caps.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are only 150 performance editions built for USA markets. Half 6 speed, other half dct. All of them built in AW. Hope the performance coils are not as stiff to daily as they say it is on track. Sick ride! |

Not sure about the seatbelts, but the door sill does say M performance and there's an led projector under the door that says performance edition 1/150 or something along those lines.

That's correct. Manual seats, lumbar delete, no heated seated, Hifi sound system, no cameras, no exec pkg. You're really paying more for less..unless you want exclusivity and maaaaybe better market pricing way down the line. Only plus is pre-installed performance parts (exhaust and coilovers).

Just picked one up too. Is yours a manual? I wanted both MPE and coils, so it made sense. Manual seats are fine, don't notice much of a difference after driving 2 with the lumbar supports.

Congrats! Mine is auto. I agree with you...the features they removed on the Performance Edition are not really missed by me. My wife would like the heated seats back, but she can always put on warmer pants!
