Fixed back seat install

Sold the race car and now want to track the M2 Performance Edition. The plan is to have our builder fab up a good roll bar/harness bar and install Spar I seats and harnesses.

What have you guys experienced? Really hoping to leave air bags in it so I can easily return it to street car in the future.

Can you put in a fixed back seat and not screw up all the sensors and dash lights?

I have wondered the same thing, I would love to be able to swap between a proper racing seat and the stock seat when not doing track work. One guy in the UK has done this but didn't post details and never responded to my detailed questions.

if you have a way to reset the ECU, you'll be able to clear the airbag warning. i don't know if a simple OBD code clear will do it though. I recently took out the seats to install the rollbar, put the seat back in, then reflashed my tune and the airbag warning went away.

Who's rollbar did you use? Your not using fixed back seats?
