Has BMW fixed the issue with the HUD and Polarized sun glasses? For example my Maui Jim's do not like the BMW HUD.
That's how all HUD's work. Polarized glasses will always create a problem with any brand's HUD.

That's not necessarily true, it depends on the direction of polarization. Maui Jim sunglasses are vertically polarized if i remember. That's the issue. Some sunglasses are polarized at 45 deg. Those work.

Take a look at this thread, people have offered suggestions on how to fix the issue:

Right, but with any polarized lens, there will still be a way to turn your head that will block out, or let the light thru. Wearing polarized lenses will cause issues with HUD's. Simplest solution is ditch the polarized lenses while driving.

Correct, but filters can be installed to negate the issue. I totally understand your point.

The HUD is not a deal breaker for me.

Curious to see how BMW will maintain a good weight distribution in the M2 CP if they replace the N55 (~ 132 KG) with the S55 (~195 kg)....nt to mention the battery pack if all of these speculations are true

The M2 Competition seems to be the M2 how I WISH it should have been from the start.

I hope so. It’s already off at 52/48 as it currently is.

The cluster should be different for many reason:

- no m drive menu management in actual lci or pre lci
- red line to short for s55 engine

Ok so that makes up about 10% of the difference. Unless the steel hood weighs 140 lbs.
