Well at least you got a good fare! My business class lock for my desired date expired and I forgot to renew the one for the backup dates. Ugh! Now I have premium economy locked on United and business out premium back mileage award locked on American. American has C fare upgrade space as of now so there's an option there too.

Based on my understanding and through a very small sample size, the earliest production date for non-ED US bound cars is 7/28/20. Jealous that you EDers are prioritized. But makes complete sense with the 9/30 deadline.

I think he's July 30. According to Raven, there is an event at the Welt that prevents delivery from 09/28-09/30 and it's closed on Sundays, so the last date appears to be 09/26.

Update for everyone. just heard from Raven. She is awesome! I have a tentative date of Friday, September 25th, with a requested date of the 26th pending. I was able to get her to hold afternoon of the 25th because I got a steal on a Lufthansa direct LAX-MUC business class for $1945 before $205 in chase points redemption, or $1740 round trip. I had to cancel that today if I didn't get 25th afternoon or later!
jzaz she's slating me for 3:30 pm wish if I can't get the 26th. If so, we could have a little mini group delivery haha! In other good news, it appears the eurozone is opening to outside travelers starting July 1. Doesn't mean US travelers are allowed yet, but hopefully progress. In bad news, CDC is apparently saying we could have another lockdown...don't see that happening even if spread warranted it, but could impact travel.

These are the current rough tentatives for me. I may actually end up taking my mom for the Italian part of this journey if she wants to go. She'd love to see that part of Italy and, as Dad died last year, this would be good for her. That said, my ultimate goal is to do a 992 ED for her in about 3 years when she hits 75...the red 992 being her birthday gift would be the ideal trip. If she comes, we'd skip the Riviera and head for Paris direct to drop her off. Pontlevoy is where one of her very old friends has a small BNB...would be good to see her for first time in forever.
Long trip, but I love long trips!

Still no confirmed delivery date. Last update from Raven was that she encountered errors on my order and had to email her German colleagues |

What was your requested date? Mine were September 30, 29, 28 in that order. None were available because of event. She's trying to get me the 26th (Saturday), but we locked Friday just in case. I'd be walking right off the plane and to the car, but I've done that before and first day is super short to Kitzbuhel or Saalbach if that's the case.

For those of you that have the opportunity to venture further East. Consider checking out Croatia. It is a fantastic country and a hidden gem of Europe. Also, much more affordable that the typical tourist countries, but just as beautiful.

Almost positive the answer is yes. I think most EU countries are allowed. There used to be a list online, but the BMWUSA site now just says "Auf Wiedersehen, European Delivery"
The information packet you receive in the mail should have this information.
