I tried a few different ways— life saver (works), laying down (did not fit)…. and this combo along with bungee cords (thru the the wheel covers handle/hoops, head rest to head rest) worked the best

Wheels/Tires are secure, plenty of room for the driver, plenty of room for the passenger and leaves the entire trunk for bins, tools, jacks, luggage, etc). Driver has tons of visibility (everything above the headrests at the lowest position)

This will open up so many doors for me to travel to tracks — starting with Watkins Glen end of this week!

Looks good! That's what I did, but I had the two wheels that are behind the driver arranged the same as like you did behind the passenger. If that's good likely depends on how far forward/back you like the seat. Perhaps your next step will be like mine and add a 2-series hitch and Harbor Freight trailer for four tires and a box. That was even better yet! Enjoy Watkins Glen!
