Where are my tall* drivers at?

Starting this thread because I am curious. I am curious about how many M2 drivers are tall (5'10 plus) or taller (6'3 and up like me).

How tall are you?

How do you fit?

Helmet issues?

Complaints?

Wishes?

One mod that has changed you life to make your abnormal largeness normal?

Just looking to see what other big guys out there do who like me torture themselves with these fun relatively (in today's terms) small cars.

Edit: Not too serious of a thread. Totally expect some trolling, ridiculousness, bring it on.

Edit: Meant "tall" not "y'all", have to love iPhone auto-correct.

I"m 5'11" and find the car a very good fit. I have a manual and one thing that I dislike is the arm rest is too tall. It creates an awkward position for shifting. I have long arms for my size. As far as helmets, I have no problem, and can fit my fist between my helmet and roof, so there is plenty of room. I do not have the sunroof, so that would probably take up a few inches. I wish the car came with the manual sport seats the 2 series has as an option. These allow you to sit lower and are faster to adjust.

6’0 skinny fella here, just bought a full face helmet and I while I can’t bang my head around like I’m at a Metallica concert, it’s a very nice fit and I was very happy with the setup at the track.

Any taller though and I’d be a bit worried about head clearance..

+1 on the armrest being too high. I’ve learnt to live with it tho and don’t usually thinnk about it now.

6 feet and skinny, fit perfectly in my manual seat. I use my helmet for paragliding so never tried it in the car.

you probably fit perfectly. Damn people your size, you can do all the fun jobs like formula 1 driver, fighter pilot, etc... (not that I would have the skills even if I was that size)

I'm actually not from here. Grew up in Miami, lived all over with the military, did some law in LA and just recently moved to Texas (within past 5 months).

It was a typo when I meant to say tall* haha. Thought I fixed it online but I guess not. Oo well :

No sunroof.
6'5", 200lbs, 36" inseam

Quite comfortable for trips up to 5 hours so far.

Plenty of room for a helmet.

I’m interested to know how tall guys fit in these as I’m considering an M2 or M4 after my 335i

I feel like the sun roof reduces available height which sucks.

6 foot 7 inches
110kg

My head touches my 335i ceiling now. Now way I could wear a helmet

Shame!!! I'm 5' 7.2''
I dont know why but I still wish the car seat positioned lower.
Not enough bolsters compared to F80. Plan to change seats soon.

6'5" DCT, no sunroof, no issues.

I have not tried a helmet yet - I don't believe it's going to be good...

6'7" I installed Recaro Sportster CS seats. I felt all of the sensors and crap accompanying the rear view mirror blocked too much outward vision for me. Plus, I visit the track sometimes and like a manual seat for that. Easier to get out with helmet and suit and everything else. Plus Alcantara keeps you in place. (Not using 6pt in the M2) Hope that helps.

6’2" with a 32" inseam, so most of my height is in my torso. I fit great with a helmet. Non-sunroof.

196cm (that's 6,5'?)
100kg
DCT
no sunroof

Surprisingly good room for helmet
Center arm rest perfect, door arm rest not.

As in every car my right knee comes right up to the lower dash or what you call it. The knee would surely suffer badly if I ever crash. But I've found a very comfortable position for daily driving and purposeful position when on track (where I just move closer to the wheel one tiny notch)
