Headlights aimed too low?

Anybody find their headlights are aimed too low? Mine where aimed pretty much all the way down and didn't realize till I ended up out of the city and couldn't see shit, I needed about 10 turns to get it level. You all might want to check, I assume I'm not the only one and BMW uses a computer to line them up.

Also anyone swap the HID bulbs and notice any difference? Philips XV2? Osram CBI, CBB?

On the left side beside the neg battery terminal there is a hole with a white plastic screw, same hole on other side.

The headlights on my old M235 were badly aimed, but my M2 is just about perfect. I haven't touched the adjuster screws yet and don't think I will bother. Makes me wonder why there is so much variation, when these can automatically adjust their height anyway.

You can address this with coding. Euro headlight code adjusts the HID aiming software. It's a good mod.

So our headlights (adaptive LEDs) have both a mechanical AND an electronic adjuster?

Is Euro headlight code VLD? I have that coded and it doesn't raise the lights, I had to adjust the beam with the plastic screw. I aligned the lights with auto headlights off then turned auto headlights back on, huge improvement, now I can see further. I have a pre LCI with adaptive headlights.

Not sure what the code is - but it made a significant improvement

Note that the driver side head lamps lowers and angles outwards under 40km/h. High beam on would be the best way to use as gauge to adjust level and gap between both lamps.

I did adjust mine higher as it was too low and also checked the light sensor was reinstated at rear cross member after installing KW HAS.

FYI if it helps:
