Discounts on 2018 m2s?

So when are dealers going to start discounting these cars, everywhere around me is still MSRP. Are you guys seeing discounts in your areas?

Shit you not, dealer here discounted their M2 in stock $100 and has a huge "sale" sign on it. Really wish I took a picture.

Check pricing forum, lots of people made deals, however with less inventory now, maybe not?

Also you're in SoCal so deals harder to come by or not at all.

I was offered $3000 off '18s at a Socal dealer when I was calling around for M2C allocations.

Must be California. Here in the midwest I got my 18 m2 at invoice plus a 2k fleet discount back in April. I had several dealers willing to sell to me for invoice to about 600 over.

At one of the dealerships I was at earlier this month, there was still a 2500 ADM on the OG M2.

Here are three deals I found:

LBB, no exec, 6MT, CarPlay, black grills and vents: MSRP $56,975. They offered it at $51,210.

Another dealer matched on a white 6MT car with exec and a couple other bits, sticker of $57,290 for $51,210. I told this dealer I wanted LBB and could they move one from another store (autonation).

They agreed and I am waiting for a LBB, Exec, DCT (daily), CarPlay, Black grills (who orders these without the matching vents?!), wheel locks and first aid, sticker of $61,360, settled at $56,300.

You can get a discount but you have to be willing to play hard ball and travel. There are some dealers that won't do it though. I'm don't know how some of these dealers with cars full of port installed options and stickers at $65-70k are going to move the cars come September/October.

Yeah, that's the thing, a lot of the cars on dealer lots by me are 65k-72k because they ticked every performance part. Unless you love the M2N55 and wanted all those parts anyway, and we're keeping this as a forever car, those cars at those prices make zero sense. They are going to sit for a while I suspect (barring something crazy like Chris Harris saying they ruined the M2 etc etc etc - that will lead to magazine worshipping "enthusiasts" to flock to the "special" M2N55)

Thanks...provided the car actually gets on the truck and down here. Oh and forgot to add...the one I'm getting has the Michelins...that's worth something. And, with the new BMWCCA rules (buy 3 years, instant rebate eligibility), I get another $500 back.

While you guys are fighting over piddling savings, and trying to one-up yourselves on who saved the most, I spent my time making money with my business interests, and with zero doubt, I came out WAY ahead of you! And that's after taxes.

But, to each his own!!!! Or, in French, Chacun sa merde!

I have a part ownership in a business and we are constantly looking for people who will step up and advance by showing genuine interest in what they are doing and in their work product. Surprisingly, there are not a lot of people like that in the workforce.

The current labor market is so tight that almost anyone who puts in some effort is going to advance; if not, then you should find a better job, and there are lots available. Unfortunately, very few put in the effort.

End of sermon.

Maybe some of those people "piddling over savings" have other people making them money and perhaps they made more money than you did in that time? Zero doubt?
