I see this all the time except with the Ford Raptor. I DD my truck and it's almost every other week that I spot one. Shoot... now that you mention it, it might be the same guy. Gosh he must hate running into me. lol.

I wanna put M235i badges on my car sometimes just for the laughs.

"that's not an M2! What a loser"

Might do it on the Competition, idk

Someone was selling M2 stock axle-back exhaust on the 2 series classified section. I was tempted to get it, but then decided to wait and get what I really wanted from the beginning or something else. I ended up with the former finally.

I liked my M235i for what it was and would never go that far. I agree they should have just badge-ed it. I'm not a fan of that, but better than what that person did in the picture IMO.
M2 stock axle back is actually a great alternative to the m235 MPE. I did the swap back in the day with my m235, cut the quad tips to dual and it sounded great for a lot lot less. Didn't bother trying to sell it as an m2, and clearly went m2 shortly after.

Would never do it, but hey, at least it shows he appreciates a real M2!

Let go of your hate.

They have been doing it since 2014...and BMW made it easy by just putting the M badge on there for them. All they have to do is pop off the 3 & 5

same here. I got the M2 exhaust as a cheaper alternative to the MPE for my m235

I know when I got my 2014 the M badges on the fenders (back when they did that) were the first thing to go.

On a side note, even if a lay person refers to my car as a M2 I go out of my way to correct them by saying M235i.

Honestly they should have just called it a 235is or something.

The M235i name is confusing, but it is a great car IMO and I really enjoyed it when I had it. I didn't mind all the M badges ( that's the way BMW wanted it) I grew tired of car reviewers constantly reminding the viewers that it's not a real M car.

It's funny because now I actually have an M2, and some still act like it's not a real M car, LOL. This stuff never ends with the car community, and it's stupid and amusing at the same time.

I second that. If anything, I wish I could get rid of the "M" altogether.
