Thanks! So far yes.

Unless I see Hockenheim Silver in person and it changes my mind.

FYI, the BMW CCA club will give a $500. rebate if you've been a member for one year or you buy a 3 year membership before buying the car. This is available to European Deliveries as well.

SA just called and said he has an allocation and when I asked about ED. He said they can’t offer the ED discount at this time. It will be MSRP. And can’t do a courtesy delivery to TX. Bummer!! Should I wait?

I am on the list for an M2C and currently planning on Euro Delivery for May/June 2019. Would like to do a track day again at Spa and the obligatory pilgrimage to the Nürburgring along with some scenic drives through the Alps.
Count me in!! If things line up. Any dealers you’re working with in the DFW area?

He can do it, he just doesn't want to do it. If you really want the ED experience then you could put several irons In the fire and see if you get one. There are quite a few people that are going to do ED.

I just got a call from my dealer giving me a green light for European Delivery.

I got a production slot for September 24. Going to give him my 3 dates tomorrow after looking at the Nurburgring Tourist dates!!

The earliest I can pick my car up is September 17th per the Euro delivery supervisor I talked with on the phone.

The person whom I talked with at BMW said no ED before that date due to US EPA?

She indicated the official launch for the US is 9/17?

Noticing some Canadian buyers are picking up earlier than that? Who has a confirmed delivery date before 9/17?

I am confirmed for pickup 9/17

BMW of sterling is refusing to do any ED. Does anyone know of a dealer that is?

You are the only one that I've seen in this thread that has a confirmed build date and a confirmed ED pick up date at the Welt. I'm still waiting for a confirmed build date. I have an estimated build week 40. I wonder if entering delivery dates at the Welt would affect the final build date?

I hope that you get your delivery date It does seem a bit short though. They only start building them around mid July.

It's a confirmed ED date with BMW, not something I'm "hoping" to get.

Then you'll have one of the first production M2Cs off of the assembly line. They told me no deliveries at the Welt until September 17th. Maybe that is for the US customers only.

You will be picking it up a month before US buyers and a month before some 2018 M2 buyers.

I know. It's crazy how it worked out. I figured I'd get a spot a month after they'd start production, not a week or two. I'm beyond the moon.

Been trying to put together my itinerary, which includes the German Alps Road, to the Grossglockner Road in Austria, then over to the Stelvio pass in Italy, then up to Stuttgart for the Porsche museum, and then the Ring, and back to Munich after.

Should be a good one, with lots of Autobahn driving!

Watch out for rock chips on the Autobahn. On my last ED I got a nasty chip on the front of my car...those damn trucks. I'm installing track tape on my next ED car.

I understand now, in another thread I've read that the M2C is already in production. The Leipzig plant is early to the party this year.
