New 2018 AW M2's Available

My local dealer in FL has (2) 2018 AW M2's available and he's discounting them $1600 (probably could get him to offer even a little more off). Both are DCT. One has the black grills, gills, CF spoiler and mirror caps added. The other car doesn't have any MPrf items added. PM me if you want their contact information.

Up to 7K off in the greater Chicagoland area, so there is room to negotiate across the dealerships

Is there a dealer you recommend. Can't get anything like that down where I live.

Supposedly there are 350 2018 M2s sitting on dealers lots right now. You should be able to get a decent price. But there are zero incentives right now. Even the fleet discount is gone.

Just wait till September, once the 19s crosses the pond and reviews flood the YouTube, ball will be in our court. $5K-7K will be within reach.

I had an allocation for a 2019 CS and decided to got with a 2018 - couldn't justify the price increase and paying sticker. Now that BMW has eliminated Fleet Discount on some of the M models, just made sense. I'm negotiating a deal on an 18 - Manual (of course) with roof, and M accessories - sticker over $60K getting it for over $4K off - not a bad deal at all. DCT are a dime a dozen and you can get a really good deal right now here in new england.

So for $4000.00 more, you don't feel the M seats, M engine, M mirrors, Larger brakes, M-comp suspension, Carbon strut brace worth it?. I recall paying $40,000.00 more for a GT3RS and that is basically all suspension differences alone. $4000 should be a bargain and you probably get that back at resale since I predict the M2c will always cost at least that much more. Think about it..

It's defiantly amazing package for what you get for $4K but you are paying MSRP where 2018 can be had for 10K less with discount.

In my BMW buying experience which is pretty extensive you may get 10k off that 18 but its value is going to drop like a rock. I got 10k off my 16 M4, new update came out, within a year it was worth 10k less than I paid even with 10k off.

the curve ball, people compare 1M to M2 but 1M never get updated real M engine (it has modified N54).
The original M2 has modified N55 engine and the Comp has S55, so unlike 1M where the price is stable M2 with modified N55 would drop in price.

Buying BMW, any car that sits on the lot should have big discount.

There is an absolute flood of them in the SoCal market...some dealers have up to a dozen of them and they are still saying it's the hot car. I'm grappling with going out of state to get one for cheap (just over 10% off) or waiting.

My M4 was an individual order not a lot car. But yes I agree with all you said.

Wait a second, you're telling me a new car depreciates after a year of use?
WTF have I gotten myself into!?!?!

My point was just because you get 10k off the lot on a car with a new model coming out doesn't mean you're getting a good deal. But nice attempt at smartassery.

BTW there are cars that DONT depreciate 10k after a years use. Like any Toyota or Lexus.

But having bought as many BMW's as you have, and it sounds like you've bought a TON, you know what you're getting into with this manufacturer. We can talk about those other cars on the Camry/IS forums, meet you there!

I've got 4 2018 M2 that I want to disappear. In Utah, I have them prices at 81700, 80300, 65300 and 64500( manual) I will produce discounts as high as anywhere you have seen and possibly higher. I am extremely motivated to get these u it's gone. 5k-10k depending on the car is very much in reach I would suspect for the right buyer.... If I'm not allowed to post this due to rules please let me know if I need to register as a verified dealer rep or something.

Why are those priced so high? What options and/or extras are on each one?

Because they are full of port installed carbon fiber stuff that was an easy markup 12 months ago.

Something tells me that he's going to have a very hard time selling those.

You're forgetting to factor in the price increase on the M2C.

I don't think he'll be the only one...a bunch of dealers here in LA have some that are 65-80k range. I think the thought was we'll make an easy 8% profit on all those items if we load the car up and still sell at sticker. That works when the base cars are going for 20k over sticker. Now that the market is saturated, the gift BMW gave dealers has stopped giving.

At the right discount, I'd consider one of those cars at the right price, but I'm not sure I'd really want the stupid carbon fiber front and rocker flares and giant wing. I'd probably take them off and try to sell them. These are BMW M2s not Lamborghinis or McLarens!

Also, the best is when the car is loaded up with those port items but doesn't have exec or CarPlay. Or it has exec but they've swapped out the great, heated M wheel for some unsightly, too thick, soon to be worn alcantara wheel.
