First CS with AA equal Length Mid pipe.

This video is from a person I know on IG. It's is the first M2 CS with the AA equal length midpipe paired with the stock back box and stock downpipes. The mid pipe is the resonated version. If you guys havnt heard the S55 with AA's equal length midpipe I suggest you view some vids. Totally transforms the sound of the S55. I plan to do something similar but with a Remus back perhaps. ENJOY

I believe they recommend getting the non resonated midpipe if you plan to keep the stock downpipes. These keep tempting me.

I agree, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to resist. I wish we could hear a non resonated one with stock hardware soon. I'm ready for all the user feedback as these arrive.

The resonators on the version for the F87 are tiny about a quarter of the size of the F80-82 version so their effect will be greatly reduced. I'd definitely get the resonated version, I need to hear it in person or maybe this guy will post better video with some driving to get a better impression of what it sounds like on the CS

I've been thinking about what I'd like to do with the exhaust.

I just called AA to ask about what they have on offer that would work with the CS.

Basically two options:

First is the EL mid $1,299 (https://store.activeautowerke.com/pr...bf397df5&_ss=r) combined with either 1) the stock back box 2) any other aftermarket back or 3) AA's F87 M2C Valved rear Axle-back Exhaust $1,999:

https://store.activeautowerke.com/pr...98a39c36&_ss=r

Second option is their full M2C Signature system which uses a single 3" mid combined with a different rear (not interchangeable with the EL mid) $3,550:

https://store.activeautowerke.com/pr...21fcfbef&_ss=r

I really like the idea of the EL mid combined with their rear for $3,298. A good price all things considered for a full stainless system. Also nice that the factory system can be kept uncut.

I like the idea of not cutting the factory exhaust. I think I'm gonna go Resonated EL mid, resonated catless downpipes, and Remus back but not 100 percent on the back yet

You're probably better off buying someone's used comp exhaust... it'll be much cheaper... like a few hundred.

The stock exhaust is one long piece from the downpipes to the muffler tips. In order to use the midpipe with the stock muffler, it needs to be cut and the aa midpipe would be clamped in.

I took the AA mid-pipes off my Comp before I sold it. I'm contemplating putting it on my CS.

I reached out to AA to get confirmation whether it will fit the CS - I think it should by my observations - but they have not returned my inquiry.

Can anyone confirm?
