I'm not going to get the carbon side sills, the MP Digital Alcantara wheel or the carbon shifter (I've quickly come to like the brushed steel pearl drop look of the DCT from even the outside of the car).
Don't forget to get the gloss carbon handbrake cover! Funny you mention that, I also feel the same way about the DCT knob and surround... I prefer the silver also so I'm only going to change the handbrake.

- Stainless Steel Pedal set + Dead Pedal
- Dry Carbon Handbrake Lever

It's a good point. I had the MPE gloss carbon handbrake in my F80, but am actually liking the soft touch feel of the F87 handbrake. The jury's out on this one. I checked this earlier and the CS handbrake seems to be merino wrapped. I think I'm going to keep it.

I should have noted I wanted gloss carbon to match the gloss carbon transmission tunnel and side handles in the CS. If I had the C, I'd get the dry carbon look to match the rest of the interior. I saw a CS video recently where the buyer got dry carbon steering wheel inset and DCT shifter and they seemed to me to clash with the wet carbon OEM CS look.

The only thing I don't care for on the handbrake, and why I'm thinking about swapping it for the Autotecknic ones is the way the leather seams on the top feel rough/sharp relative to the rest of the wrap on it. Looks wise it is fine, but the feel isn't awesome.

I have gone full circle on these. On the M2C I thought they looked terrible. And probably still do.

On the CS, they work so well with the black wheels and other black bits and make the car look wider and more aggressive. Big fan.

Yes, it is the soft leather and feels much nicer than the M2C. I really like this. There are a few other premium leather touches too.

Also, Day 3. I think lack of armrest is so much better that I'd consider ripping the one out of my M2C if I still had it. I tend to use the shifter a lot and this is part of why I like the space. If you have a manual I'd have to say this alone would be a massive upgrade to the shifting experience.

It's odd the two complaints from JA and a few other bloggers have turned out to be some of my favourite characteristics of the F87 CS (deletion of armrest and thicker alcantara wheel). Definitely a memo to self moment here next time I hear or read a few bloggers take some obligatory shots at choices like this by the M engineers. M 1: Bloggers 0.

I guess it's all about preference. I was given a loaner 218 gran coupe last year for the day and that wheel is thick as - I hated it. Sliding back into my M2C with its slim leather wheel was bliss.

The alcantara CS wheel is only an M-performance wheel, so not specifically M-gmbh engineered. Glad you like it though, I'm hoping I can do the same soon.

Some new shots after a wash this afternoon. The more I drive this car, the more I love it.

These will be last photos before I add the MP carbon winglets next week.

For those interested, I found a place in Eastern Europe on Etsy that makes custom plates so I configured some for the F87 CS that I can attach when taking photos (a lot better than editing out original plates).

Just checked. Plate is available!

Also. My favourite NSW plate style. Silver on black. Small form factor. Perfect.

This is the style I have on my car.

That annual pricing though!!! Is that for all custom plates in NSW? I paid 1k as a once off for mine here in VIC, and now I own the combination to be sold on at any time in the future. I believe SA has the same annual leasing structure of combinations.

SA has always been annual; $255 for 7-character plates and $200 for 6

Even though you can apply for a plate without a car, you are not allowed to hold the plates until you nominate a VIN to go with those plates.

It varies by style and number of characters in NSW. I did them for my last car to publish on Instagram posts. Realise a better option now is to get custom plates for shoots and ride anonymous with non-customs on the road.

There's all sorts of pricing depending on all sorts of things. Full custom is the most expensive and is annual.

Site is here.

Pretty well done really.

It has full Motec. Coil overs ,AP brakes, full CAMS cage, Front/Rear brake control, diff cooler, and a Chev race V8 with 650HP...she dances around the track.....completely neutral handling, but she will burst into a drift at the slightest push to the go pedal!
